Once upon a time, digital ones were in fashion, now they are called smart ones.

I never want a smart watch. My Citizen one with the glow-in-the-dark hands and numbers, is as smart as I want to ever get. Having a darn iPhone is bad enough.

The price tag isn’t smart. I’ll stick with my 10 year old timex, that replaced a 15 year old one that finally died.

When I retired 16 years ago, I put my watch away and haven’t worn it since. Maybe I should check the battery.

Bor-ing. I’ve gone with Casio for quite some time. They put some real interesting functions in their watches. I had one once that had a Universal Remote in it…

my smart watch is not attractive, neat or stylish. Oh but the things it keeps track of including the time.

I don’t need my watch to tell the world – or just some companies – everything about me. And I am amused by the number of people who ask me for the time because they would need to pull out their phone from wherever it is to check it.

I agree with Betty. I held the line on plain-old-analog watches for as long as I could. I actually had two favourites, both Citizen Eco-Drives with sentimental value because my wife bought them for me, and would alternate between them. Last year she bought me an Apple Watch…

What am I bid for a drawer full of the best watches that you could buy with features like self-winding, and auto-syncing with an atomic clock in Denver?

When I used to wear a watch, I preferred one on a ring
