What we have here is an excellent display of tact, which can be described as “that genteel art of grinding someone’s toes bloody, but leaving the impression that you’re only shining their shoes”. Good job, Georgia.

I love the change in expression on Puck between panel one and 2-when The Woman says the cats are family, he looks relieved, vindicated, and as though he wants to say “so there, you old biddy”

Is that? – Yes, yes it is – The baby is giving a tiny thumbs in the last panel!

I think that woman looks waaaaaay too much like Cruella DeVille to be trusted.

I did find it odd, though, that for someone who does not like the baby, Elvis is very angry at the suggestion that he could hurt him.

‘Oh, I see your broom is back from the shop, sorry you must be leaving’

Non-cat people are non-welcome in my home. The cats are residents, visitors are optional.

Cats (and dogs) are very loving of baby’s, when I was a fetus my mothers cat and dog would sit with her and protect her, something they had never done before, after I was born they would protect by cradle at night, one time I coughed and Soly (the dog) went screaming to my them trying to save me encase I was sick of choking, and the cat, Kitty would sit by me and meow, telling me about her day.
