How can it be fake if it’s the diploma you were handed at the graduation ceremony? (Mind you I was given a rather cheap diploma for my PhD from an ivy league school, but it was a real diploma and I have the option of ordering/buying a fancy copy if I wish. But it is a real diploma. As contrasted with a guy a row or two behind me that groused there was no diploma in his case – only a bill from the bookstore which was holding the diploma for ransom until he paid what he owed.)
