You can buy LED lights now that can be remote controlled. That would help to keep your carbon footprint down.

Kids, don’t try that at home, I have. Many candles, near together is a good simulation of a fire storm. Fresh air from the sides, the hot air goes up.You end up with a single flame that extends to the ceiling. Better have an extinguisher at hand ;)Ok, Broomie ain’t in a room, she could “only” ignite a wildfire.

now I wonder HOW they managed to bake SUCH A CAKE that Garfield would be JEALOUS AS HECK!

With all those candles and a blower she’ll create a fire tornado. Saw one before, they look beautiful but are very deadly. Yip yip yip yip yip

I count only 52. I suppose some of them are hidden behind the others…

When you are 1500 years old, you birthday cake can be seen from space.

Skip the gas-powered blower and upgrade to an electric one. There are a lot of great battery-operated lawn equipment now that use interchangeable batteries. I love our Ryobi 40-volt system. and 1 battery is enough to do our townhouse end unit yard.

She should have started using numbered candles a long time ago.

When I turned 50 my teenage son got two Hostess cupcakes, stuck 25 candles in each, and lit them with a pocket torch.

That cake started the first fateful day of global warming…

Like that cake though…..

I don’t need no stinkin special equipment! I blew out 74 two years ago with one breath.

With all that smoke coming off of those birthday candles, people are going to think another train derailed or something. ;-p

Happy Anniversary, Russ! Broomie is either A) 54 since beginning 19 April 1970; or B) “1500+,” which is of course Broomie’s little lie, since we’ve seen her, if I recall correctly, cavorting with cavemen; or C) something else.

I’m also going to guess that the cake is a big mock-up, just a lot of butter-vanilla frosting around an empty framework….
