He doesn’t hate baths. He hates being REQUIRED to bathe.

You drench Mom again and there will be a “gruesome kill” by someone else, Calvin.

Is it hypocritical for Mom to say that? She wants Calvin to take bath. Now that he has acceded to her demand why should she bother how he takes it?

Next time put only six inches of water in the tub. He’ll be a beached shark and water will more likely stay where it belongs.

Oh, it’s a shark? For some reason I always thought it was a killer whale when I was younger.

Yeah, I think it’s safe to say that Calvin will never have any brothers or sisters.

He smells blood- but unfortunately, it’s his own…

Uh; somebody posted yesterday that it’s time that Calvin starts taking showers. Have to agree with him/her !

I raised three boys . There were probably many days when I closely resembled Calvin’s mom in the last panel.

It’s not baths that kids don’t like. They don’t like being told they have to do something.

That’s not a shark. A real shark would eat anything you put in front of it for dinner.
