Why would he want to stay the day in the playground where he’s always beaten up by Moe??

Miss Wormwood replies, How about if I adjourn you to the principals office.

Miss Wormwood adjourns the class to the playground to continue teaching outdoors.

Used to love the playground! Lived for it. In the winter we had to watch I think it was Flash Gordon or some other awful space flick in the gym on snowy days. It was a small school grades 1 to 6th

Anything to help the class proceed , of course.

I’m surprised Calvin didn’t try that back in the early days of the strip.

I always wanted to get the assignments, do them as rapidly as possible and then go on to fun things. None of the ten schools I attended seemed to understand that.

Once in a while it would be lot more better to let the kids play in the fresh air and sunshine. The lessons can wait.
