I’ve seen this before. Guy are more confident in their drawings when they use stencils. It’s called male pattern boldness.

I for one was expecting a pun from today’s comic.

Back in drafting school we called it a hole-o-meter.

Being an architect of a certain age, I can relate to the excitement of acquiring a new template, although I do not recall allowing one to influence my design to quite that degree. Now that just about everything is done by computer, there is not much use for them in my job.

Fascinating. The circle is the most nearly perfect two-dimensional shape, and I could follow Cartoon-Boy’s adventure in cyclical art for several rotations! Round, and round, and round we go! Where we stop, nobody knows!

What was the name of the kids toy that had stencils as well as rotating patterns? What a great way to waste a few reams of paper and several pencils! (Technical Engineer coming out in me…..once indoctrinated….never really leaves).

This strip wasn’t bad until the narcissist started including himself. Ohhh, if I hurry, I can hire Stephan to speak at my “event”. LOL
