Children are only capable of enjoying music that is offensive to their parents. They more strongly it offends the sensibilities of the parent the better the quality of music it is (from child’s perspective).
My guess, dad was drummer or rhythm guitar and/or mom was vocalist/tambourine player and Phoebe didn"t know they had ever been cool. But wouldn’t we have to be talking about the early 80’s-ih? Was there even any music in the 80’s?
My vote’s for her piano teacher, who was in a cool jazz or blues band. And now she’ll be begging for more lessons. Devious unicorn! Though she makes the coolest looking phonograph.
I thought my dad was cool just for making circuit boards that went into space shuttles and Mars rovers, but when I found a copy of the 45 single that he played lead drums on, his coolness shot up even more.
What matters is how the kids get introduced to music. What difference it makes can be unpredictable. My age group got turned on to Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture because we saw it so often in the Puffed Wheat and Puffed Rice commercials on TV. “The cereal that’s shot from guns.”
i still like the music my parents listened to.i still listen to the music my parents listened to.mu father liked about half of the stuff i listened to.if it wasn’t to loud.
How did you know it was the Who? but top ideas of who is on that album 1. A song she was failing to play right 2. Her music teacher 3. Her mom and/or dad 4.Dakota’s parents 5. Marigold other possible ideasPhoebe, Dakota, Marigold and Max after traveling threw time in a phone booth to become world’s most excellent rock band ever!some other magical creaturea character Phoebe knows that we don’tnothing that big a deal just Phoebe thinks its a big deal.

I suspect Marigold Heavenly Nostrils is in the credits. Or she’s the main artist.
