I am going to recycle my comment on P1 from September 28, 2012 regarding the recycling of that crowd shot again.Anybody know what happened to Gil or the one-armed coach storyline?

Gil and the coaching staff are huddled up figuring what they are going to do when some speedy wideouts start running by Terry while he’s doing his best Riverdance moves as the ball is snapped. Six weeks in and he’s All-Conference. How hard can it be?

If Gil were still coaching, he wouldn’t put up with that posing B.S.

Soo…these were Ballard HS students on 09/28/12. Maybe Rod figured the girl in the foreground looked like Maddie Weibe, this could be a subliminal reference for the Thorpoholics who have noting better to do. If Gil doesn’t pull The Knight, no more Brylcreem treatments.

And that would be the “evil” Marty Moon reporting to you from the tinderbox high above Milford field, where there is still no sighting of Gil Thorp or the coaching staff.

The second I saw P1 I knew it had been used before. Who knows how many times.Help me GILfans, I can’t stop myself. I started shining the fences now at the stadium.

Terry is the greatest! This story is so compelling, I’m even starting to believe Doyle now.

It’s about time for the Gilfather to intervene and “fix” this problem.

@Mop Will Travel – I always likened the the fences to dasher boards for MILFords outdoor hockey program. Maybe they will get the NHL to stage the Winter Classic there some day?

In other MILFord news unrelated to this current storyline – Torrey Pines was on the Howard Stern show this AM participating in the game “Dumb as a box of rocks”

The repeat of the two panels is a perfect parallel to yesterday’s elections. The country is demanding a repeat of the last two years… status quo. The irony is that We the People of the Thorpaverse actually are demanding 4 more years of this story line. I want to see if Terry will ever meet his coach.

Can’t wait for the day when all 3 panels are repeats. And preferably not being connected in any way.
