I find that the older I get, the more often I feel like this just trying to get out of bed in the mornings . . . and that’s without the “benefit” of such strenuous exercise the day before!
Reminds me of a Richard Scarry story where an archaelogist finds a mummy case in Egypt, then stops by a club in Cairo for a drink. The nearsighted club owner mishears it and thinks the mummy case is the archaelogist’s actual mother! The club owner says "what kind of man leaves his mother in the cloak room?! He sits the case down and offers it a drink, but when it is laid out flat he simply says “Oh dear madam, you must be terribly stiff from this desert wind.” :)

Actually looks skinnier than normal, probably can not eat. But the hair is a mess.

Moral of the story: exercise with a less-fit friend!

Try to move around, Elly! It will loosen your muscles and they’ll feel better… eventually. :-)

This is why I will never attend another ‘exercise class’. Even if I don’t feel like I pushed myself, I am in pain for the next 3 days. Not worth it.

Often, I feel the ache of a long day’s bike ride not the next day, but the day after. Go figure.

Been there. That’s why I swore off exercising. It was killing me. ;-)

You think John? Whatever gave you that idea?

Wonder why John is depicted as slobbering over the table while eating and talking. Not very flattering!

It was back to ballet for me today after 3 weeks off. I’ll be like Elly tomorrow.
