Hmm.. Milk, Eggs, Chocolate and Sugar, I hope her next stop is a house full of wheat people to get flower! ;DWait⊠that wonât make sense, I guess one from dried beans will suffice.
Yup, eggs. Remember how Maude was at the same time, ashamed and defensive, and sort of defiant about her ability to give milk? She owned her bodyâs new âskillâ by saying âHey, itâs what I do.â But this chicken/person is ashamed of her eggs. â I think before Lindaâs done, sheâs going to show a lot of people that their ânewerâ bodies come with some remarkable fringe benefits.
Horray. Aaron you kicked up again. We are really going to enjoy making this cake. Well not as much fun as AMâs banquet , no cheeze or wine. I think you have hit a jackpot. So she adopts an old man instead of a orphan. So be it.Love ya. Blessed Be
The hen looks embarrassed at having to dispose of them. Iâd guess that theyâre unfertilized, meaning that if she is sexually active and trying to have offspring, that sheâs not successful this time.
As a celiac, I can vouch for the superior flavor of soya flour over regular bean flour. And I thought Maude ran the underground market on rare goodies. In six or seven years Linda is the first to set up an underground market?Oh Trudy, Trudy, Trudy.JusSayin

There would be a distinct difference between an intelligent cow using their milk and an intelligent chicken using itâs eggs. In the case of the milk it is meant to sustain baby cows but in the case of the eggs, well those are what baby chickens hatch from and would smack of cannibalism.
Linda is really putting herself out there for another mutant. is she starting to care about Endtown in general? Even so, if Linda pulls this one off, how can she keep it going? Tootsie Rolls dont exactly grow on treesâŠ.wait. There are no more treesâŠ
linda was playing a hunch. The hen looked more nervous than embarrassed, putting out eggs in the garbage late at nite. ( who puts their garbage cans in the middle of the backyard?)
One henâs trash is a koalaâs treasure..Eating unfertilized eggs would not be cannibalism, since they have no potential to turn into living beings at this point. Besides, have you ever seen how ravenously chickens will go after their own eggs, if broken? Doesnât last long; those pointy little beaks come up dripping with yolk, and the beady little eyes dart about, looking for more.. I miss having chickens!!
Linda has found an untapped resource. But how will citizens of Endtown view this? Acceptable behavior? Probably not. The hen may be getting rid of the eggs to avoid what may hatch. Giving milk lactating is one thing but laying eggs then disposing of them would be (you know the word). A dangerous path Linda is going down. Sure to help please one person. But just one? What is next? A cat person comes in wanting fried chicken? Its how I know you love me? Linda, Linda, Linda. How will this work out? She may generate more problems than she solves.Get well Aaron. Take your meds and rest. Remember to put back in the good stuff. Those antibiotics can tear you up. Good probiotics. If you can stand it try goats milk. Helped me one time over a severe infection. (Car crash, the steering wheel was shoved into my abdomen and tore my colon and it leaked inside not good) The meds knocked down all the stuff including the good. The goats milk helped replace what I had lost.
First of all: Take care, Aaron. Hope you get better soon. Hospitals suck.
Question of the day from a city boy who didnât stay on Uncle Scotty & Aunt Ethelâs farm long enough to get the answer myself: How can you tell if an egg is unfertilized?
Finally, in response to Jennerâs post: Iâm going to give my copies of the Endtown books to my 14-year-old grandson, who has an interest in anime (he turned me on to a great, dark Japanese TV program called Death Note) and graphic novels. Then Iâll buy a couple more on Amazon for myself. It wonât be much help, but Iâm not working right now and money at home is starting to tighten up a little.
Itâs interesting, in many âprecocialâ species of birds (those that are able to run after mom soon after hatching, like chickens and quail), the hen will lay one egg a day, until she has laid all she needs to, then she will sit on them and start the growing process. The eggs will hatch within hours of each other, despite being laid over a week or more!
Iâm glad to hear that this infection wasnât as horrible as the last. Iâm still praying that Aaron recovers quickly and that the new medical bills arenât as horrible as the previous ones.
I need a giant flame pit, and the worldâs remaining bottle of BBQ sauce⊠I mean, if I wasnât supposed to eat giant mutant chickens, why are they made OUT OF MEAT?
Iâve always found the size of the eggs you use makes a difference. My chocolate chip cookie recipe never came out right if I didnât used jumbo eggs. What size egg does a formerly human mutant chicken lay?
âSo said person who produced the eggs isnât human?âUmmm, donât think I was implying that. Human is as human does.. I was just chattinâ âbout chicken biology..
Another thing about eggsâŠtheyâre not safe to eat if theyâre not either fresh-laid or quickly refrigerated. Theyâre little potential salmonella bombs. So I hope these eggs Linda clearly gathered up havenât been lying around for awhile before being tossed in the garbageâŠ
Another point about slippery slopes. What if someone dies naturally in Endtown? What do you do with the body? Im sorry, but i dont want to see Tony Turtles name in the obituaries one day and on the specials list at Endtown CafeSorry, my bad attempt at humour. But my point is validHoping for a fast recovery for Aaron again. we miss you!
It suddenly struck me that all the mutants might be effectively sterile, as the mutagenic virus did a massive tap-dance on everyoneâs DNA, the odds of any kind of useful match up would seem nigh on impossible. Either that, or the virus targets only a few key sequences for morphology (has it been established that the various types still have the same baseline metabolism as mammal-based endotherms?) and in that case, inter-fertility might still be possible, with all the potential for mix and match combos.
Hereâs an idea. What if Lindaâs venture causes the residents of Endtown to start using their natural production, sort of like a farmerâs market. Might be something they could consider? I know, ethics, etc, but just sayingâŠ
According to Cooper, he had mentioned to Wally that since babies are asleep in the womb, they are actually born anthro. no case of a monstrosity was shown to be born from an anthro. besides, both parents are mutant, logical to assume that the egg and sperm will hav the virus

If thereâs no rooster, you can reasonably assume the eggs are unfertilized. Unless the chickens are parthenogenetic.

My chickens lay double yolkers, wind eggs, blue, brown, pink, and purple, and one without a shell. But they have never laid any anthros.
Buzzwronganswer about 12 years ago
Maybe anthro birds give live birth to anthros but lay unfertile eggs.
