Not that accurate…the heart shape is two hearts fused toagather…in love. Makes since when you think about it….not the shape but that love means having your heart ripped out of your chest

Bob’s your uncle! Somebody needs to take a census of all the Bobs in this strip.

Al Jaffee did this comic in the 60’s. Carving an accurate heart on a tree outside of medical school.

If I were Surgeon Bob, I would start to worry. Anything named Bob doesn’t have a long life span in this strip.

Here’s a theory about where the classic heart shape came from.

Considering Bob’s line of work, I certainly hope he’s big on accuracy.
