I consider my pets part of the family and love them dearly, but I donât think I would tell other people that Iâm their âMommyâ. Thatâs a bit strangeâŠ
Hello Cathy friends! Speaking of pets, one of mine kept me up half the night, and I am extra tired and grumpy. Itâs going to be quite the struggle. I hope you have a better Tuesday than Iâm having! :-)
My dog knows âgo to Daddyâ means I want her to go to my father, and I can ask âis it Mama?â if sheâs upset about something (Momâs severely disabled). Use of the names within the family is one thing. She wouldnât be with me if she wasnât my dog, and I donât use the third person in public like I might at home, where the -y version of my name is only used when someone is talking about me to the dogs or Momâs vocabulary has gone back in time
We use Mommy & DaddyâŠdonât seem to have a problem with it around here. When my parents were alive, I could tell one of the cats that we were going to Grandmaâs and she would go jump in the car if the window was open. However, we do all realize that we are really staff because they are cats.

Iâm with Irving on this one. People who call themselves their petsâ âmommyâ are nauseating.

I. too, agree with Irving. Back when we still had our cat, there is no way I was his âdaddyâ, I knew I was his slave.
frightenup I hope your day gets better â and you maybe even get time for a quick nap to catch up on sleep.
