Irving: These are my size! Why don't they fit? Cathy: You accidentally grabbed the new skinny leg jeans. Irving: But these are my size! Why don't they fit? Cathy: A lot's changed since the last time you went shopping ten years ago! There are thousands of different styles now! The days of men just walking in and assuming everything that's your size is your size are over! Irving: But these are my size! Why don't they fit? Cathy: The weeks, months, and years are still ahead...

Skinny jeans. I like the way they look but I can’t wear them all the time like some people who wear them even in the summer

If the conversation wanders to the point where the same question gets asked more than twice it is time to watch TV, alone.

Like the TVs of my childhood, Irving needs a good smack to reset. On the subject of jeans, I think it’s nice to have more options now, but I only wish they’d keep the styles that they come up with. I just want to have a style that I know fits me and isn’t going to disappear or change!
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Friday! I hope everyone has a nice day and if you have a holiday on Monday, have a great long weekend!

They have “mom” jeans. He needs the “dad” jean style.

If they don’t fit, then they are NOT your size.

Even more fun is when you accidentally order something in Chinese sizing. I ordered women’s small leggings from Amazon for my stick figure of a 12 yr old. They should have been too large. She couldn’t even get them over her feet. The length was right, so I have to assume Chinese sizing.

I once bought a pair jeans I had tried on. The next day I went back to get another pair of the same kind, in the same size, just in a different color. I didn’t try THEM on and when I did at home, they didn’t fit.

I think the sizing as stated is really a guideline not a rule. Like samfrana6-0 said, it is possible to get two identical jeans that are not exactly the same size. That is probably why I wear sweatpants most of the time – the ones my wife buys for me are all relaxed fit and since I am relaxed . . .
Hope everyone is looking forward to a great, safe, long weekend.

Anyone ever notice no one looks skinny in skinny jeans, that wouldn’t look skinny in any other kind of jeans?

I’ve had the same experience with changing the color and the pants no longer fit even tho they are the same size and same jeans (or even sweats).
