Stay tuned. Aaron only just set the stage for the big finale. Jake still has the town and most likely the rats to deal with.

The Fundraiser Is Now Closed at a total of $3155

I myself call that a smashing success thank you all so much for all you have done to help Keep Endtown Alive.

Most of all the biggest credit should go to Surfstuff55 who organized the fundraiser and has faithfully pushed it forward and updated it.

I don’t think the Ratssacre was the worst to come from this. The 3 are still in trouble. The megomaniacal rabbit is about to act. Things streetside have been percolating, especially since the loss of video feed. The spark moves along the fuse to…what?

I would just like to say thank you to all who contributed through either words or action in this most difficult time.I did not expect in all honesty the unexpected outpouring of care and support that I have seen over these past several months.Endtown has always been about humanity and people pulling together in times of crisis and this is a genuine illustration of compassion and selflessness.I am truly humbled in the face of these numerous kind wishes, donations, and prayers.Especially Surfstuff55 without who’s efforts this fundraiser would not have ever been possible and who has tirelessly worked to make it a sucess.Thank You All, from the bottom of my heart.

    Sincerely Your’s,Aaron Neathery

The look Velda’s giving Jake may not bode well for the megalomaniacal rabbit: Her eyes have been opened and she doesn’t like what she’s seeing.

Ok, let’s assume that Allgood still hasn’t quite realized the full ramifications of what Jake’s just told him. He has two choices – to offer to go on TV and apologize to everyone for holding the trial, or to meekly return to Endtown and try to pick up the pieces of his broken life. Everything hinges on what Jake and Velda allow him to do at this point. (He could go on TV and then yell out Jake’s plans, but if the broadcast is on 5-second delay that would be a bad thing for him to do.) Jake could order Allgood to be shot or imprisoned, but since Allgood’s got zero credibility in Endtown now, it would be a waste of energy.

It is still unclear to me if any of the non-rats know about the Endtown Massacre. Jacob and Velda are certainly acting as if nothing happened. Somebody has to answer for that and the Endtowners, by and large, seem to blame Allgood for starting the whole mess. It still seems dangerous to me for Jacob to leave Allgood alive and talking.

…but what I really want to know right now is what happens to the girls?

I’m disappointed Aaron won’t be at Anthrocon… I was going to tell all my friends to buy stuff from him, since I can’t be there myself. But I hope I can see you there next year, Aaron! (and you too, Jenner!).As for the story… this doesn’t seem like Aaron Neathery to me- it’s too….. BORing….. I have a feeling Mr. Neathery is about to surprise us again, big time.

My Thanks to Aaron on many levels. He knows what I mean.Oh Well to the story. Allgood can retreat to his home. Killing him would serve no purpose. Just make Jacob look like a killer. Allgood will swear an oath not to tell anything. Admit he was wrong. Allgood can go home and read some books have a scotch or whiskey. Maybe he can borrow Jacobs copy of Mein Kampf. Two quotes come to mind that would explain Jacobs next course of action.1. If you win, you need not explain. If you lose, you should not be there to explain.2.It is not truth that matters, but victory.Hope Allgood did not break all his booze. Allgood can sit in the dark, kick back a drink, and watch. Now Jake is the big hero but how will he display himself to the public. A “Reluctant” one to the people???How will the non mutated humans view Jacob after his rallies?

A real surprise to me. Velda looks very distressed. I don’t think she saw this coming either. I would say the ball is in her court now.

Aaron,Thanks for the energy and dedication you have devoted to “Endtown”. You have gone through so much over the past few years and yet you’ve always devoted yourself to keeping the strip going. You’re a hero as well as a great story teller. “Endtown” is one of the most bravely told stories I’ve seen. It isn’t always easy to follow, but it is definitely worth reading.

I’m wondering about that look on Velda’s face. I’m not good at reading expressions and can’t tell if its just surprise at Jake’s confidence or something else. We haven’t seen much of her character. Was she a talented follower of Jacob who is in this for the benefits (luxury items ect…)? Is she playing Jacob and has she just figured out that Jacob might be tougher to control than expected? Is she bothered by what she saw happen? She definitely seems to have a part to play.

I can see Jacob’s plan for any disagreements with his leadership or rhetoric.“The elevator leaves for the surface in 10 minutes. Feel free to leave.” “Your choice is simply here or up there.”

“All that is required for evil to triumph is for good men to drop their guns” Who would have thought 3 years ago that we would be seeing life imitating (this) art in the 2016 presidential race. Go figure ;-)
