No, I just happen to post first… I do my posting late night, early morning….And the equal signs are because if I use the dash (“-”) to separate any thoughs, I’ll get this:textso I use the = to separate the separate thoughts… if you ever read down to some of our conversations, you’d have an idea about the “in jokes” and the other things in the word play, and we each here (the regulars) have our own thing we do, here….

If you can, check back later to see what I mean…And if you knew the fun and craziness that happens with each new post on this forum, you’d see why… and you could possibly actually find yourself saying the reverse: “Dial it up a notch!”….

There are several who have suggested the same, Greg, but the more he is asked, the more he posts.I have been posting on Luann for many years, and there always crops up a serial poster who takes over the comments section for awhile until they finally burn out. At that point we can breath a sigh of relief and many different people come in to make interesting comments.

I see either indifference, avoidance or annoyance. What I’m saying is that sometimes less is more — and that maybe this is one of those times. Otherwise you just end up looking like a spamming troll, no matter how clever or “full of fun and craziness” you might think your posts are.^Don’t mistakei it for being….. condescending… it’s just that I was trying to take a civilized tactic… You post on F-Minus, just like me… tell me, what did you see the last time you posted there?…. one comment…. check on some of the other ones. that we both are on… one comment… = So, please understand…. here is way different than those other places…… something doesn’t add up in what you are saying….when I started posting, I didn’t initiate some new trend… I joined in and did what was already happening here …..I did not “take anything over”…. you post the same places as me, and you can see that I don’t post more than one or two anyplace else…….. posters like Edclectic and Ms. Sunshine and Pcoli (and many others) also post more than one time on a strip, and you know it! ….. in fact, check back from the last time you posted there…. you act as if it’s just me and no one else… if you have been reading comics for a long time, you would not throw this all on me… you know that this is not “my invention”….. if I don’t like a series of comments, I use the wheel on my mouse, or the pg. down or up feature, or the home and end keys…. one click of a button or a flick of the mouse wheel is all it takes….=Even if I were to stop posting, it would not make it so that multiple posts would stop from anyone… it would not make it so that there wouldn’t be so many…. it seems that you are trying to make me the “poster poster” for whatever gripe you are having with long lists of posts here, or what have you…. especially since it can be shown that the same places we both post on, like F-Minus among others, don’t have that same issue!, nor do I post a lot on those places!….

How do you people (for those that this applies to) think a website makes any money?… the ads are paid for, because they know that a site generates traffic… when people pay to display an add, they do so when they are confident that lots of people view a site, and lots of people have activity on that site!… Same with TV and radio!….. Sports and News talk shows do the same thing!…. the more people call in, even some in the same day , the more their ratings grow… the more ad dollars… the more people get paid…..

I guess Gunther bought a whole bolt of that check fabric. Still, it IS practical to make your own.

I buy my jeans and stuff at Marshalls, but party dresses will always be my own from scratch (I can afford real silk in my favorite colors that way, and still pay less than stores).

Or… Kmart?…. No, but you do have a point.. maybe just a generic umbrella term for stores that have many chains, but don’t cover as large an area as WalMart, Etc… maybe even department stores that serve the area of Pitts, but aren’t in many states, or something along these lines….

I’m thinking “mid-range franchises” means stores like Macy’s, Nordstrom’s, etc., that are more expensive than Target or Sears (and certainly more than big-box discount stores like Walmart) but less expensive than the fancy boutiques that we are told Tiffany patronizes.

And sewing on jeans material (especially to make seams that way) is VERY hard on the average home sewing machine (and impossible to correct a slight miscalculation)- totally not worth it.

I bought 3 pairs of jeans last trip to Marshalls for $10, 12 and 17 each (in 3 shades of blue and aqua). Dropped waist was not my choice (at 75) but I’m slim so as long as I tuck my shirt in it looks good.

I too wonder about this conflicted Gunther. He is too conflicted to be a credible character no matter hoe much I like him. He seems like inspector munk sometimes, but then he is the high functioning costume designer of a big show. Could he be a designer and also be the guy who can sew his own shirts in one pattern. A designer has flair and a willingness to try things. Gunther seems like a closeted technician. Will a real Gunther step forward please? Does the kibitzing crew think I’m on drugs too? That was such a ludicrous comment, really!
