actor Mel Blanc stated that Sylvester’s voice is based on that of Daffy Duck…^^Funny story about Daffy’s voice: Blanc came up with the voice on a suggestion from the animators who thought that their BOSS Leon Schlesinger, who spoke with a pronounced lisp would be a perfect model for a crazy cartoon voice (Chuck Jones claimed that he and the other animators had already written up their formal resignations, just in case Schlesinger didn’t appreciate the joke). As it turned out, the boss saw the first Daffy Duck cartoon and didn’t recognise that Blanc was imitating him; if anything he was delighted, saying that the voice was one of the funniest things he’d ever heard!

I do, and your “humor” is absolutely not funny. Someone needs to boot you off this board.^^Who made you Judge, I happen to like Jays humour (You actually have to THINK about his puns) and Iprefer that, to someone who attacks a good poster, if you don’t like his sense of humour then SCROLL over them (his posts) and leave him alone; by the way, there is NO rule that you have to be relevant to the actual strip (I know, I checked), but, there is a rule against bullying/personal attacks on other posters, so keep it up and you might get booted.

Actually, drawing flags of the various countries of the world is a perfectly normal (and educational) artistic activity for an after-school program like this. The kids could decorate the classroom with the flags, and Tiffany could just use them for the evening of the dance and then put them back. In this strip, of course, that would make Tiff the greatest villain since Lizzie Borden.

Where has Luann been all this time that Tiffany was working with the kids? Oh right, Luann was busy untying all those other kids that Tiffany had already lashed to the railroad tracks. Now she is here to rescue this final group of imperiled innocents. Our heroine!!!

How about tomorrow Tiff comes back and says she asked whether the kids can go to the dance, and she was told that no, they can’t. However, the people who are staging the dance (namely Tiffany’s committee) will give the kids a special Certificate of Appreciation for helping with the decorations, and they will send the kids a photograph that they can post on their wall showing how pretty the school gym (or wherever the dance was held) looked with all the flags pasted up. The kids will have enjoyed drawing the flags, and they will have learned something about the different countries of the world. A win-win situation, all around. Of course, that would never be allowed to happen, because Tiffany must be portrayed as evil, evil, evil!

Some post their great artwork, some post funny pictures, some post their own stories… I post what I post… Again, it’s never a person stating dislike for another’s post that’s bothersome, and it doesn’t bother me, at all!… but reading this kind is what really does hurt…

Wouldn’t you know it? Tiffany choses a home coming event that the children wouldn’t be able to attend for them to make decorations for. There are other things the children could get involved in for the home coming, especially if the town is small, and the community attends the games.

‘It looks like Luann has been doing nothing, while Tiffany has been engaging the kids in a great activity, even if the kids don’t end up going to the dance’….. Hmm. When you leave your house and whoever you live with stays behind, do you assume that they are doing nothing while you’re working all day, because you can’t see what they’re doing? This is a three panel comic. It would be difficult to split the panels in half and show what two characters are doing at the same time, wouldn’t it? Why assume that just because one character isn’t in view, that they are sitting around starring into space?

Yeah, making international flags is a GREAT after-school project— too bad she told the kids they might get to go. But let’s remember, these “flags” will be child-made, child quality. High school students would not want these at a significant event.

The after school program must have a schedule of activities. Plus a supervisor for the 2 assistants. Making flags from around the world is educational. The kids will soon find out what a liar Tiff is when they don’t get to go to the dance.

As some have said, when you want to be, your posts can be entertaining, as well.. but there are days when…. I don’t know… – This is one thing that your “two cents” need to stay jangling in your pocket on. Count how many times I’ve posted, today. Count how many times you have posted, today. What does this tell you? Either, A: You just like to “stir the pot”, or B: You are being hypocritical, and don’t realize it. Also, you are taking sneaky attacks, in the form of “Judas-like maneuvers”… trying to coyly feign a pseudo-friendly demeanor, while sneaking up with a back-hand at the same time… there was a time that you put on your profile that you were trying to be the “number one poster” and catch up to NG (with upwards of 70,000 posts, BTW). Though you have since deleted it, the fact that you have posted numerous times today makes it so that as you point your index finger, there are three others on your hand, staring right back at you….
