Ah, but if they didn’t advertize, how would we know? (BTW, did you know the only successful company that has never advertized is Barnum Animal Crackers?
And mailing flyers to non drivers telling us how much we’ll save on our car insurance. Because the only way I could come out ahead at this point is if they paid me.
I kind of like the little lizard but I hate that stupid Elephant. I don’t usually pay much attention to commercials but I love the Sonic guys and some of the Flo with Progressive spots.
In truth I like the lizard, the pig, and the camel. I liked the witch flying around the broom factory. However, I have been with my car insurance company for 36 years, and no Flo nor a similar talking animal is likely to persuade me to change.
The miserable pig is worse, Maxwell be the name. And Mike from Ford and Flo from Progressive Insurance. And Barbara Walters, while we’re at it. Do some peopleever get ‘bumped up the ladder’?
The lizard has become tiresome, I tuned him out a long time ago. The pig is still cool, because he is still somewhat new. Lost interest in the duck when they fired the original voice, Gilbert Gottfried.
I think both the gecko and duck are cute. The only commercials I can’t stand are those where pitchmen shout or otherwise make themselves purposely obnoxious. (Did not mourn the passing of Billy Mays) besides, he died by Darwin’s law
I hate all of those commercials, every time I check my rate with any of them it is usually much higher than what I pay currently.
Lets not forget about Dish and Direct, maybe if they would stop sending out billions of letters trying to get people to switch to them, they could offer those services for much less than they currently charge and the never-ending price hike every year.

I hate the Pig too. And that lizard! Alright already! No? Was that a question?

How could almost any advertising character be any worse than this guy?
x_Tech almost 11 years ago
If I want talking animals I’ll watch cartoon shows. All commercials grate when you hear them ten times an hour (43 minutes).

I love the lizard and pig and the duck too, but I can’t stand Barney.

I imagine a commercial in which the Gecko says, “So easy, even a …”, then you see a club with a green and red splotch on it.

At least cut the # in 1/2.

Maybe they ought to do a commercial with a camel.

I don’t mind the lizard, the pig is somewhat annoying, but the one that gets me is the stupid camel………

Let us not forget “ring around the collar.” It’s the reason I stopped using Wisk so long ago.

The camel gets on my nerves now too. I hate when Wednesday comes around and people say “Guess what day it is?” Enough already!

Yes they do seen to spend a lot of money on advertising.

The pig was cute in the first commercial with him yelling “wheee” out the car window, but I’m done with him now. He is just weird.
