That’s why I have two pair: One to wear and one to use to find the first pair when I forget where I left them.

I don’t have a land line, just a cell. I’m thinking about getting a second cheap one, to use to find the other one…..Glasses? I just buy a bunch from the dollar store and leave them everywhere….

I call those reading glasses “sprinkles,” cause I sprinkle them all over the house. Buy them at Costco, where a three-pack is cheaper than one pair at any drugstore.

There’s days that I would rather talk to a ficus tree than some of the people I run into.

Or, he should be able to afford Lasik surgery on a principal’s salary.

I keep my glasses case in my bag and if I get fed up and take my glasses off, they go in there. that way, I know where to find the when out and about.at home however…… I’ll just set them on a table and forget which one I put them on.

Two kinds of contacts, and two kinds of glasses. And is there anyway to hurry cataracts along?

My sister told me for years I should get contacts to look better. She stopped after living with her own for a time.

Mr Spaetzel is my hero. He really is, I think, my favorite character in this very enjoyable comic. Others may like contacts or surgery, but glasses are far easier to me even with the very minor inconveniences (fogging, getting smudged, etc.).

Glasses can’t keep your lens from changing shape to prevent a rapid deterioration of vision , RGP contacts can. (-5 in 5th grade, -6 in 6th, -7 in 7th grade and got ridged gas permeable contacts, 20+ years later still -7) Hard contacts make such a difference in protecting eyesight from degradation I’d have to not wear them for at least 6 months before getting lazik to make sure they wouldn’t start worsening again.
