He’s across already? What kind of death trap is that?

Doesn’t Abner know they were recovered?

It appears that Kadaver made the traps easier as one went along. How did DT overcome the cement obstacle? Aha! Abner is not aware that his captives are no longer captives!

It looks as though Abner could use some more help in his “murder mansion”! Has anyone fed the horses? Are you free Igor?

I have been collecting Tracy Mem. for 8 years from E-bay, and I have nearly every item, comics etc that has been put out except the blank doll

As for the other hostages, they can only be the Apparatus leader he trapped earlier and the person he “bought” his copy of “London After Midnight” from.

I have a feeling that Tracy is still on the other side of that room with cement/quicksand/whatever and that he’s throwing or using something to make that pounding sound.

Regarding Uncle Ray & Bonnie, perhaps their cell phones/mobile devices were not removed or turned off and the police were able to locate them that way.

Kadaver, what do you mean “after I’ve finished off Tracy.” Not gonna happen, wouldn’t be prudent at this juncture.

Kadaver is not stupid. There is more to this story than meets the eye. I think he has something up his sleeve. We will soon find out. Strange also his insistence for Rikki to leave. I think he knows full well the present status of the hostages.

Hostages? Um….sorry Abner but the police already found them. Guess Rikki didn’t secure them like you thought she did. Good help is so hard to find these days!

Maybe he doesn’t want Rikki to see him disappear down some rat hole like the rat he is!

Abner didn’t rell Rikki he already released the hostages. Hmm…maybe he doesn’t want her to know he’s a big softy at heart, just has a death trap fetish.

Aha! So, it’s all been nothing but an elaborate triple-cross, and Kadaver has been working as an undercover operative for Tracy to gather intel on both crime outfits! Abner probably got turned while in the joint, with only Tracy knowing what the deal was!

It would be interesting to see Rikki open the door and stumble right in the middle of the police recovering Uncle Ray and Bonnie.

What is the real reason that Abner wants Rikki to leave? Could be interesting.

Maybe she’s talking about different hostages. No telling how many people on his contract list he’s already acquired.

(Sigh!) Alas, the only logical explanation now is that Kadaver has double-crossed everyone who he has worked for. He hasn’t drawn a drop of blood yet! So he could very well be working for the MCU. All this for Rikki’s entertainment? We’ll see! He obviously doesn’t want her to see him turn Tracy loose.

I assume the cement was poured about the time Tracy stopped the walls from closing in. I don’t need to see the mixer behind the wall. Why would Kadaver lie to Rikki? He seems to believe that he is still in possession of the hostages. Very interesting. As he couldn’t know Tracy was going to kill the ‘gators or break the motor, I can’t see him being in cahoots with the Police. I love that evil smile in panel two: Cheshire Kat. Tracy is knocking and it would be rude to keep a guest waiting at the door. Hurry up, Sunday!

Ummmm…….perhaps RIKKI let the hostages go? She seems to have last been in personal contact with them…..although she’s hardly “good” having helped Kadaver kill others. As for Abner helping the law, that’s absurd…..30 years of murdering people makes that kind of a “deal” impossible. I think Kadaver just wants the satisfaction of killing Tracy personally to make up for his failure the third time. Also, perhaps the reason the cement seemed so easy to escape from was that it simply LED to the “third” trap….Abner himself!

I’m just happy that Rikki had time to find her star and put it back on her face after losing it.

DT watched mythbusters and learned how to run across wet concrete. Thanks Jamie and Adam.

If Tracy walked through the cement/concrete, his shoes/feet are now covered and the cement/concrete will start to hard around them making it difficult for him to move….kind of like being set up to swim with the fishes….

And here I was expecting that DT getting to the door was going to be much harder than it appeared, that there just had to be some fly in the ointment — rather, something in the cement. The fact that it was so easy (or so it appears) is enough to make me wonder what’s about to be sprung. And they already found the hostages — didn’t they? I’m not as familiar with the characters as others are here, so I can’t be sure about all their motivations or what’s about to go down. But maybe it’ll be something that nobody will have seen coming.

Reading all the comments and looking at the strip (great art of Abner in the 2nd panel!), I’m left with 2 thoughts: either he’s going to tear off the “Abner” mask & be someone else or Abner is actually dying & this is his suicide scheme (death by Tracy). Or, of course, anything else…We will see shortly!
