Itās nothing personal. Itās just that we have to pay the freight for socialized medicine, so our customers wonāt pay the premiums necessary to cover somebody at your level of risk. This will all be better when the government runs things, as they donāt have the bloated bureaucracy that consumes so much of the money taken in just for administrative purposes and will be able to better manage funds without the need to manage risk by rationing care. Trust meā¦
Please, government, tax me 12% more and just pay for my medical! Stop with all the ānow non-formulary medicationsā that have kept me functional, but now must go away because the insurance company doesnāt want to pay for them! Itās not Affordable Health Careā¦it is Mandatory Health Insurance, and they are not the same. Thereā¦.rant for the day accomplished, and donāt I feel better?*Ohā¦ā¦ā¦no, not really.
There is no government run health careā¦.Biggest lie the liars have ever lied aboutā¦(Out of hundreds just this yearā¦. Itās only an update on regulations, kinda like a new building code, All it does is make things better and saferā¦..Some people arenāt smart enough, or know the issues enough, to debate issues intelligently, on their merits, so they resort to making things up, and demonizingā¦.Very childishā¦Like a two year old that discovers the word āNo!ā..If Obama found a cure for cancer, they would try to stop the cure just to make Obama look bad. Anything to make Obama look badā¦Because that is all they have to go with, they have no ideas themselves, Obama took them all and implemented themā¦ā¦.And theyāve pissed off everyone but old white men, an a third of those are independent, another third is Liberal, so that doesnāt add up for republicans that wellā¦Good luck, guysā¦
Rick can take his business elsewhere IF he can find someone to accept, and IF he can then afford to pay for it. AH, the benefits of corporate capitalism!
At least thereās one good side to my current situation. My insurance canāt claim stomach cancer is a preexisting condition when Iāve been covered for years prior. Even if I survive (which is looking doubtful, but hey, well all go some time) they canāt pull the old switcheroo. I read the policy, translated from legalese by my own lawyer, and if they try I can nail them for breach of contract. Or my kin can. Either way the legalized racketeers will end up paying.
Credible citation, please, for Canadaās healthcare ārunning out of funding.ā Canada spends only ~11.5% of GDP (vs US ~17.5% prior to ACA) to cover virtually all their citizens, as opposed to the pre-ACA US, with more than 16% without any insurance. Some data for your spare time excavation:
I am not sure I understand this comic. Is the insurance agent saying that being alive is a pre-existing condition which disqualifies coverage of the surgery that the patient has just survived?
These are the same people that claim that adoption is an alternative to abortion, but will NOT themselves adopt , nor provide funding, and then want to restrict who can adopt. Kudos to Michelle Bachman and Deborah Preisse, two Republicans who actually adopted, and truly push for adoption, and better foster regulations. Donāt agree with their political philosophy, but can admit that sometimes actions speak louder than words.
