Look! We’ve graduated to their side of the table! We’re moving up in the world!… – Hmm… well, does that mean that instead of buying paint, I can just ask to get my house reinked?… – Will this arc soon become a pretzel, by adding a twist?…. – (Cue organ swell and stop) And….What about Naomi? (viva la reference!)…These and other questions (What time is it?) on… Luann!…

I’ve always figured that the reason high school girls wanted to date older guys (and guys in their 50s and above want women in their 20s) had more to do with some kind of evolutionary thing than with high school guys being ‘dorks’.-You know that girls tend to develop physically before boys do; so maybe evolution has them already unconsciously hunting for a potential father for their kids. A high school guy who is still short, maybe with acne, and still talking about Star Trek conventions probably doesn’t inspire anyone to think that he could be a dad.-And an older guy (even though he thinks he’s looking for a young girl just because of her looks) could still be looking for someone to have kids with….-Yeah, yeah, I know, the theory of evolution is just some plot made up by a geek at the UN, right …. don’t all yell at once…

You know, I just remembered… personally speaking for just me, one reason I called him “G-Man” was for the fact that he offered to keep tabs on Quill during their “Drama Camp” arc (along with the fact that it’s short and “punchy”)… but I just realized, the ironic thing is, this time, he is the one benefitting from “surveillance”!…..

It doesn’t matter how they got the reputation.I have seen a small child whose face was rippid off by a pit.I never saw that particilar sight from any other dog.Another neighbor’s arm was ripped off by same, an abandoned pit she had cared for for several months.

If a dog has to be “raised correctly” for it to not literally deface a small child or disarm an elderly nurse, something is wrong.

Um, are you sure “penultimate” is the word you mean to use? That means “next to last”.^Since we’re talking about the “social food chain”, yes… they would be closer to “the bottom” ( only in reference to “perceived social status”, not actual human worth, which is why we mostly start having so many “what was I thinking back then?” moments)…the superlative in the “order” would be the “epitome” of the perceived “food chain”, which would be your jocks, cheerleaders, “A-lister” types… therefore, again, yes, they would be considered “penultimate”, as they are not considered to be in the upper echelons of “high school society”… below that, are various other types (which vary in terms by region), including “bullies” , “creeps”, and a couple of others…

As I was just mentioning, I lived in a school district where the cafeteria staff were left to do the cleaning, in addition to serving and preparing meals… we had an organized system at my particular school, where out of the 7 of us on that caff staff, four of us did the cleaning, while the other three cared for whatever needed to be done for the next lunch period coming up…. – And of course, we prepared the meals in advance in the morning, as first lunch served was at 10:30, (which means that some students had lunch during their 3rd period, overall, of the day), so that everything would be ready, and it was just a matter of replenishing the serving lines…

I’ve said since I was in junior high that the only way to have order in the schools is to have cameras or at least microphones in the rooms and hallways. Since it’s always one person’s word against another, it would be great to have actual PROOF what went on between students, and also between teachers and students. This would also hopefully prevent those pesky little teacher-student “romances.”

Don’t buy that “bullies are just misunderstood, downtrodden people with poor self-esteem” nonsense. In my experience, bullies are narcissistic sociopaths raised by indifferent parents. They greatly enjoy the misery they inflict on others, and the laughter and applause they get from the idiot bystanders that constitute their audience (both in school and on-line).

Nah, THIS time it was you.You said amen to the joel statement which you pasted and which somewhat excused the actions of creatures which do tremendous harm when they go off..You DID agree with him, didn’t you?.Personally, I don’t care how loving they are much of the time when they do such damage to little kids like that. They reattached his face as best they could but he has a hard life ahead of him for antagonizing a dog by offering it a cookie.

joel, I didn’t mean to insult your Pit Bull; she sounds like she Is so sweet! The problem is that one hears so much about the “negative characteristics” of a Pit Bull that people (me included) tend to see Only the negative because of their bad reputation stemming from Bad Training (I believe bad training will ruin almost any dog).. All it takes is one “Bad” apple to ruin the whole barrel… Sorry. ;)
