I have seen many things blamed for our language deterioration, but never aliens.

These words are homophones, but many people seem to be incapable of distinguishing how to write them. The error seems highly frequent among internet users.

Rest assured, it’s not only English. I see similar mistakes in my native language (Dutch) all the time.

Evidently stupidity is contagious. It certainly is an epidemic here in the United States.

The difference between ‘your’ and ’you’re’ is completely logical. The problem is that too many people don’t bother to learn what the difference is, and why. And, since the two do sound alike when spoken, do we assume that word balloons really are floating above their heads?
