Today was worth getting up in the middle of the night to read! Caltrops… knew what they were but I always called them ’spikes"!

You don’t see many squads with single exhausts.

Well I was right about the car but it was the wrong car.

Tracy is getting some more experience with trashing the MCU’s rolling stock. Now, they are going to have to take back Sam’s permit to drive. It’s amazing they have any squad cars left!

Oh deer, that was an unexpected twist in the story. I’m reminded of Sweatbaux now. I don’t believe that will be the final fate but the Nitrates may not be so lucky. Especially with an enraged hyena as well.

I find it interesting that the car museum had that exhibit all gassed up, and machine guns loaded and cocked. Hope they have a nice liability policy, ’cuz they are going to need it! I guess the stove inside the car is there if the present occupants have a yen for a burger while on-the-go…….. or maybe a Reuben on rye……..

Yet another stellar Sunday strip from Team Tracy. Wonderful art and action, as the chase is interrupted by the wonder car’s enhancements. I’m guessing that the car museum took the wonder car “as is” for their showroom. Look but don’t touch, folks, the exhibit is here for a limited engagement of unknown duration. And speaking of a Reuben, morrow, Gould won his first of two Reuben Awards in 1959 (a very good year). This was the year Rhodent’s chase did not end as well as I’m guessing Sam and Tracy’s will. Thanks to cpalmeresq, Gweedo, VistaBill, Ray Toler, JPuzzleWhiz and mzkdad for the kind words. Very much appreciated!

Great Cesar’s ghost! This is certainly one wild ride. Nice to have such a great group of junior detectives gathered here to share it…and Pequod7, I don’t chime in often but your work s top notch.

And to our friend VB – hope you’re stocked up for a day or two – looks like another snowfall is on the way. Stay safe and warm.

On 2-27-14, Sam said, “This snowstorm is getting fierce, Tracy. I can’t imagine they’ll get too far before nightfall.” On 3-1-14, Car 54 reported, “….a vehicle answering the description of the Nitrate car seen in Woodland Hills area!” A quick Google search of “not in california places named woodland hills” showed, after reviewing 5 pages of results, only one other possible Woodland Hills, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Woodland Hills, California is in the western San Fernando Valley part of Los Angeles. It rarely, if ever snows there. Perhaps there are other Woodland Hills which I would have discovered by looking at more pages. But my question comes down to this: By the time Sam and Tracy catch up to the Nitrates, it must be getting dark. Why are the Nitrates wearing dark glasses, which diminish visibility?

Tracy and SAm weren’t exactly prepared for the equipped car, now were they?
