To Danae in panel 2. Um, no, not around these parts anyhow……Especially this year…5 to 8inches of snow tonight . Lows below zero after that…..Plucky little winter we have here…. Dare ya to ask me about April………….Bwahahahahah…..

She is not going to be happy if she is in this area. Rain the past 2 days got us back down to zero – 6 inches in some spots and now the restocking has begun. We are supposed to get about 8 inches in the next 24 – 48 hrs.

Some things even Danae can’t command….

Northern New England is getting 2 feet of new snow today. Don’t worry Danae, mud season can’t be far away.

We are fixing the weather as fast as we can. Wait until next year!

We had snow here for one night last month, sun yesterday (well, I believe it was; not sure.) Of course 30 miles in any direction from Seattle can be different.

Meanwhile, here in Oz we have our most widespread drought on record.

Let’s not go starting any ice ages now…

I’ve seen snow fall in April and Edmonton’s seen snow falling every month but July. An outdoor August Bryan Adams concert once had to cancelled due to snow.

I can sympathize. Blizzard warning here with up to 20" of snow expected. I’m really, really, really hating winter.

Um, Danae Spring isn’t officially here till the 20th.we’ve still got eight days of winter left.

Sometime she will havta grow up and cope with the rest of us.Unfortunately her ego is too big right now and she has to change….almost impossible….

We had a freakin’ blizzard in APRIL of ’86 in Ohio.

We had snow in early MAY, last year, first time in over a hundred years in Kansas City.

I thought there was snow in July in Maine. I mean like isn’t that state synomous with “glacier?”

No, I live in New England, and it’s usually all gone by mid-April.

81 here in OKC yesterday. more like 55 today though.

Well, if they’d hurry up and move, it’s be gone. We don’t know how to handle snow down South, but we know how to make it leave. Wait 48 hours.

Anyone who likes snow is either demented or defective.

Expect a little snow this time of year — not 8 inches. Also expect some cold days, but not record-setting below-zero temps night after night.

Yep, she’s definitely been watching too much cable news, as Kate indicated. That stuff kills more brain cells than 200 proof moonshine or sniffing glue and paint thinner. But then I live in Utah, where independent thought is anathema to both church and state (like there’s a difference here :x).

Guess I shouldn’t tell Danae that here in Lotusland…. snowfalls have been known to happen in late April and late May. Snow leaves as quickly as it comes…….wouldn’t know it had happened an hour or two later…………. ……… but it does happen……. :)
