Poncho: I knew it! I knew a crazy cat lady couldn't eat a dog biscuit! Carmen: I tried-- Kaff-- It was unexpectedly dry-- Hack-- Poncho: You've broken the biscuit! You've doomed its spirit to walk the earth, unloved and unsavored. Carmen: Well, what can we do to heal the biscuit's spirit?

It would of been easier had she just ate it.

An egg white, some powdered sugar, and a drop or two of water. Makes wonderful glue. Well, OK, it just looks like glue, but it works well for repairing broken dog biscuits… or for frosting sugar cookies… and it tastes a whole lot better than that stuff you used to eat in kindergarten class.

As someone said yesterday, a true dog would have gobbed down the pieces. When we had dogs EVERY crumb was allways devoured. Now, my cats will leave sometimes leave the crumbs & sometimes eat them- go figure.

Number Six & StelBel, just read your next Oscar & Wild. It’s a wonderful strip. Any chance GoComics would run it on it’s own? They keep adding new strips.. I also liked your photos.

Poncho! You are not even acting like a dog anymore! Don’t they know the more they humor you, the weirder you get? I would kick you butt out to the dog house!

Kill the story line, way over funny.

Today’s PC has gone beyond being a little silly. Chaz and Carmen DO tend to indulge Poncho a lot, but this is absurd!

Yeah, this is a dumb as it comes.

-Ok, now this is just plain stupid-I agree. Guess I’ll read something else for awhile and hope that this arc ends…

More often than not, I derive great enjoyment from this strip, even if the story arc is silly. Poncho’s reactions or the reactions of other characters to his antics often make me laugh out loud.
It’s extremely rare to hit a strip like today’s. It misses the mark, yes. BUT, that doesn’t mean that every single strip in this story arc will be equally as bad. Go read something else if you absolutely must, but I’ll be here tomorrow and the next day…and the next. I have faith that my funny bone will be tickled before too long!!
Which one of us has never had an off day? Please give Paul Gilligan a pass on today, and maybe even tomorrow’s strip. He has given us countless strips of pure enjoyment.
I remain a loyal fan.

I think it’s straight jacket time for Poncho.

The last panel is a HOOT. The broken biscuit looks adorable on the pillow…..

I like it when Poncho’s over the top like this. Yes, a real dog would just eat the broken biscuit bits but a real dog wouldn’t catch a car bumper, convince a bird to wear a porkpie hat, drag a fish around in a wagon, nurse a duck back to health and then use the same method for a dog biscuit. pierreandnicole is right that’s just downright adorable.

Oh, Stelbel, you did it again. Not only did I laugh at the last panel, but your rendition just made my evening.
And the same for your longish post, I said before that this strip makes me laugh. We have a dog and she’s always trying to figure out something…
