Angus seemed like a mild natured guy, but…

Yanking a case away from Tracy seems to have been a VERY bad idea and now things are going to get hot….

Angus doesn’t murder people, it’s that horse from hell, Nightmare doing all the killing. Arrest that horse!

Hope Angus doesn’t plan on introducing Nightmare to Venus to get even. Ohhhhh…..I love the potential irony of that….she being saved by the person she put a contract on….

Tracy’s on Angus! Which means Angus may not have long to live! I’m loving the complexity of this story.

And if that isn’t bad enough… he’s made Tracy mad. (Run!)

If Tabby is getting away with murder than the Kolossal case being taken away from Tracy was a corrupt move. This corruption shall not stand. I like Lee’s reaction as Sam exclaims that he has never seen Tracy hit the files like that. Lee smiles as piles of files riles Tracy.

Now Tracy is doing the kind of detective work that some people wanted to see, even though it doesn’t involve much action. And he is building cause for suspicion of Tabby Angus.I think we veterans of Crook County are vindicated in having suspected Jeff Clark was corruption-tainted (in the complicated multiple-redundancy of corrupt governing and policing bodies in Crook County, it’s no surprise that Tracy and Patton are feeling frustrated)!

Hmmm…what would happen to you at your job if the boss told you not to do something and you did it anyway?

Seems to me that is what Tracy is doing.

Yesterday I posted my suspicions that Tracy would either be angry and quit over the Angus case being taken away from him or he would investigate it anyway and be suspended. It looks to me like he is heading toward a suspension.

I imagine that suspension will last the same amount of time as the upcoming Annie arc.

Tracy really has a beef with Angus!

Maybe Chief Patton will suspend Tracy and put him in the penalty box with Gweedo and NG….if they do that, Mike & Joe will have to move him to Serenity Acres and let him room with Don Quick Oatie.

Mike and Joe slipped in a small joke by Sam at Tracy’s expense, however, there were plenty of scenes in the Gould days of Tracy going through files in the open drawers of the file cabinets at Police HQ. He even made a point of it a couple of times, as when they went through the “moniker file” together searching for Oodles’ real name, once they learned his nickname. Going back through the classic 40s and 50s strips, it is actually surprising how often the file drawers are shown in HQ scenes.

Yesterday, Chief Patton said, “The higher-ups gave it to Jeff Clark over at County, Tracy. It seems he gets all cases connected with Tabby Angus.” If that’s how it goes, then MCU has no files of its own regarding Angus. So Tracy must be viewing County’s files. But if the intent is to cover up Angus’s crimes, why would Clark make them available over the network?

And who are the “higher-ups” who are giving all these (how many?) cases to Clark? Inquiring minds want to know.
