Oregon, (where I am today). I say it is his premium payment, not that of The premium. I always try to rephrase things so as not to require a possessive of an object. So, rather than saying “the door’s latch was sticky” I’d try "the latch on the door was sticky, due to the owner’s neglect.

    Agree?

If the insurance adjuster knows the guy who wanted the corn dog or the kid who wanted popcorn, heard TJ’s complaint about hating his business, he or she might call in ATF, and pursue arson charges.

Interesting turn of events! I still think TJ’s expression when the truck first went kabloooie was one of genuine surprise… which would mean that his delight now is not because he pulled something off, but because the accidental explosion provides an easy solution to what he was beginning to realize was a problem. In any event, I hope that’s the case!

I think that the explosion was in fact an accident; but the question is, will the insurance adjuster see it that way? TJ’s glib, wise-cracking attitude could get him into trouble. And that trouble might even reach out to taint Brad’s reputation. And that might cause complications with Toni and the big wedding….

Also…I don’t understand why people think Toni and Brad would be in any way influenced in their wedding plans over this. Explain this thinking, please. Greg had better let that wedding happen. It will give him a dozen new possibilities for his strip. If he doesn’t he will have a lot of angry fans. lol

I guess Toni must be off from firefighting duties today, or she would already be aware of T.J. booming business. Either that or she is aware of it, and she just made a terrible pun.

Trust me, it’s a terrible pun. Toni is off duty.

The Capt. would not allow Brad & Toni to work the same shift at the same station, for both HR and safety reasons.

I think it was an accident. TJ knows there are people in the area, the two males, but he is not looking back when he walks to the trash. If he knew it would explode he would make sure there were no people close to it. TJ may be shady but I don’t think he would take the chance of killing someone.

Brad is not in charge of the arson investigation. He doesn’t need to offer any opinions to anyone, just answer any question they ask him. If it was arson they should be able to determine that without any help from Brad.

I think TJ’s happy demeanor is because he knows they won’t find any evidence of arson and the fire was a lucky solution to his problem. If he did cause it he would act more surprised or upset, to divert suspicion from him.

Based on the assumption that this TJ thing was actually an accident, the insurance company will probably find a way to reduce him claim with deductibles, etc, etc, etc. Just like people who can’t rent apartments due to their restricted dog breed list when it is not the dog causing the problem it is the way the owners take care of them. Total discrimination.

and if he’s right, then the “vote” is meaningless.

In the shorter term, I’d have to agree. I’d imagine TJ’s fate is already sealed, one way or another. But it (the poll) might prove interesting input for the future direction/development of other characters.
