Tiffany is PREPARED.Is this what Ox and friends toted in for her? A warehouse worth of party supplies?

Didn’t this strip used to be about Luann? She’s getting precious little “screen time”, these days. Has she even met any students at Pitt CC or gone to another class, beyond answering one role call?

Tiffany and Bernice need each other as they ease their way into college. It won’t be long before they realize that underneath all that underneath all the squabbling and posturing, there’s a foundation that looks a lot like friendship…

I wonder if that is a votive candle for that heavenly creature in the painting…oh that’s Tiffany too! Tiff, you lovable goof! Nice to see Bernice knew who she could turn to when she needed a place to stay. They argue, but when push comes to shove they are there for one another:)

Maybe it’s one of those fake candles that use a battery and a flickery bulb. I have something similar that I use as a night light sometimes.

It just occurred to me that Tiffiany is actually rather lonely.

Don’t they have an RA?

Forks and spoons? That dude will fall asleep from excitement. Bernice, do you have a sleeping bag? Do private suites have more than one bed? Sharing a bed with Tiffany will upset the old fashioned readers!

Bernice doesn’t “just call the campus cops” on Piro because that would be against the College Code, which is eerily similar to the Prison Code: no finking! Or else!Tiffany is gracious to offer Bernice a place to crash just after Bernice tossed her out of Dez’s and her room in anger, but is too eager to engage in party planning. What Tiffany has not yet learned is moderation. She needs to cool her jets a bit. But she is, at heart, a much nicer person than she ordinarily gets credit for being.

I’ve never seen that expression on Tiff’s face before. She looks downright giddy.

I have to give props for Bern leaving the room immediately, but she should notify either the RA or the campus police to have him removed. I gather she chose to pack a bag and crash at Tiff’s room to avoid conflict with Dez. After all, Dez could heep tons more of her “friends” on Bern and tons more troubles. Bern would have to go to Univ. Housing and file all kinds of paperwork to try and switch roommates, at this point.

Still, if it were me, I’d have the campus police remove Piro, and then I’d have a serious talk with Dez… assuming I could pin her down.

I have to admit that the first time I read the box, I thought it said “black folks…”…I’m thinking, “what the….?”. I’m back now on track now.

Tiffany readily lets her stay, and likes to party. THIS EVIL MUST BE STOPPED!!!

Congrats Tiffany – having a portrait of yourself hanging on the wall brings narcissism to a whole new level!

Bernice is as bad as Tiffany when it comes to being desperately lonely; she’s allowed people with whom she has only a passing acquaintance to take over her dorm room and side-track her from her education, unless this is a lesson in naivete’.

Aye.

Where’s Piro’s room? Bernice should just ask Tiffany to help her drag him back there. Or just drag him out into the hall and leave him there. Why is Bernice such a doormat? Or is she maybe attracted to Piro, and she doesn’t want to make him angry at her?

Tifff sure has a lot of energy…i think Bernice could learn some social skills from Tiff. Oh and Tiff could learn study skills from Bernice, this is a good mix.

Tiffany’s just trying to find ways to have a party with Bernice’s help…since Bernice accidentally became the #1 party-girl of Moony Uni so fast.

Bernice has to get the guts to tell Tiffany they are in college not kindergarten. Tiffany stiff thinks the Sun rises and sets on her a**.

Might as well change Bernice’s name to “Doormat”.

My wife lived in a college dorm for four years, I lived in various Air Force barracks for four years. Absolutely nothing in common, so this storyline, although amusing, is completely alien to me. I’ll bet our rooms were cleaner.

Getting a sleeping Piro out of your room:

And so they WILL throw a joint party (just not tonight, please).*Bern will bring the people (Piro has already expressed interest.)Tiff will decorate & bring the goodies (which Dez’s friends will think are crazy & cool).*Yeah, as I humbly predicted, Bern will sleep on Tiff’s couch and they’ll become a pair— an ODD couple, as many have said!

“I think we are going to see a lot more of the Bernice/Tiffany pairing”*Levi – I’m anxious to see this. Not just to help Bern loosen up (as you guys all seem to want), but also to give Tiff some depth and help her learn to dig into her books. Who knows, but with effort Tiff may find she’s a “genius” at set design, or trig, or organic chemistry. Like her long-time rival.

I’m beginning to suspect that Tiffany has failed to make any new friends, and so now she’s trying to buddy up to the one familiar face around her.

Where is Crystal going to college? She USED to be Tiffany’s gal pal.

Perhaps another reason for Bern not calling an RA is because she may feel a tad bit “guilty” for allowing herself to “cave in” and join in the party, even though at first, she objected on the grounds (as she voiced in her estimation of it, in speaking of it to Viper) that it may have been considered a loud one… she may not want to tell the RA, and put herself in a “predicament” (whether an actual one would happen, or just in her fear of it)….

in my first year living on a residence, my first roommate once had this guy crash at our place… while she, as usual, crashed at a friend’s place (which was fine with me. we didn’t connect at all, and we did eventually do a roommate swap (me for a friend of hers)). unfortunately for me, I didn’t know anyone else in the residences so i was stuck with him (I didn’t wanna cross my roommate). The fun part was that he had a thing for Asians (I’m Asian), and he fell asleep on my bed (I felt obligated to watch tv with him, since I rejected his advances), so I went and crashed on my floor. fun times…
