I must have missed a LOT of this strip - suddenly it went from the newlyweds restoring a farm house to now having a half-grown kid -- what gives?

Definitely she is Pop-pop’s granddaughter.

nice the feelings Gene and Meg have for each other. still odd that Meg use to look like MaryLou but now doesn’t at all. as an only child she will never have to worry about attention or a sibling who does more closely resemble her mom. i suspect at some point the bio dad will appear.

Meg’s “bowl” style haircut has sure changed her appearance.

Boiled rabbit? Bleh. Now, pan fried…

After yesterday’s speculation, I first read the last panel as “Paris well with rabbit,” and I was trying to make any sense of that.

She’s a little gourmand!

I thought she could mean, “Let the rabbits have it”.I agree with MeGoNo and Staying Anonymous, but it sure engendered a lot of comments yesterday.

Sometimes I wonder if she is not a vegan.Definitely seems sane.

The above last line should be…. “It [meat] is just NOT my favorite food type.”

If they’re lucky that rabbits will eat all that crap.

“Daddy!” You’re a lucky man, Gene! And Meg, you are a lucky daughter!
