Lots of fun today! So, Vitamin is Teddy, just as I was speculating. I think he fits the part (although he might be older than would be expected). On the sight of Kandikane, he dropped his hat. Is this love at first sight? The old introduction with the feet and crossed legs. I love it! And Vitamin has starred in an Abbott and Costello film in the past. Cool!

Have we seen his secretary, Xena, before? I think she’s new.

Okay. From this introduction, are we to understand that Kandikane Lane is, in fact, VENUS of the Blackhearts?.Wild guess, you know…

That third panel reminds me—just a bit—of the posters for the movie, “The Graduate.” Just with an age reversal…

Since Mike and Joe took the time to remind us of Snowflake and her looks, the idea that Kandikane might resemble Snowflake is an interesting idea….

we’ve already gotten verification that kandikane is margot’s sister, so apparently this is going to be a shadow crossover….ok, I am cool with that…i’ve always LOVED the shadow (even the not so great but still very good flick with alec baldwin) and I wouldn’t mind seeing Lamont Cranston paying a visit to ‘an old friend’ (vitamin)

Poor Vitamin.His eyes had finally gotten back too normal after goggling out at gruesome Christopher Cushing, and now they’re popping out at toothsome Kandikane Lane.No wonder he’s dropped his hat!

Seeing Xena there (with a resemblance to Lucy Lawless) made me look up the TV show. And horrors! it debuted 19 years ago! Egad, indeed.(Xena is a very old – and pretty cool – Greek name. It wasn’t made up for the TV show.)

The Graduate poster is a reach folk, other than the panel has two figures .

Yep, Teddy… Vitamin is an older teddy, but then, age is lost or gained under all the stage makeup.I thought Anne Bancroft but then I also got an image of Sharon Stone in Panel 3

I watched that show and its companion, Hercules starring Keven Sorbo.-——-Me, too. That’s why the idea that it was almost 20 years ago makes me wince.I’ll never get used to this whole “time” concept. Too confusing. Not enough loopholes.

No one has yet been struck by Vitamin’s having an office with his name on the door and a secretary. He must have invested wisely over the years, because there are so many talented actors who can barely make ends meet day-to-day, never mind amenities such as an office! I suppose an attractive young Kandikane Lane in her biker outfit might indeed cause a vain older man’s heart to skip a beat or two and his reflex to drop his hat. I wonder what business she fancies they have?

I am having a terrible time keeping the internet connected. What a bother!

I might also mention that Hoffman’s character in the Graduate poster is looking at Mrs. Robinson’s foot, leg, and stocking, but Vitamin is clearly focused on Kandikane’s face. Maybe she does look like his late wife.

I can see it now… The Shadow… The Green Hornet… The Phantom. all appearing here on the Dick Tracy comic strip! -—————————————————————————————————————-My newest computer is named Shadow.
