Good morning to all my DT friends. Sam is over confident. Gruesome probably has a surprise for him. Will Dick and Liz prevent Gruesome’s escape? Y’all have a blessed day.

Kind of disappointed that they didn’t wait til last curtain. It’s going to make a mess of the last act!

I don’t like the looks of this, I don’t think it’s over!

Hmmm, Sam doesn’t want to bother Dick Tracy — he wants him to enjoy the show — but he seems to be arresting one of the main actors. I wonder what he has in mind.

I mean, how is there going to be a show to enjoy if Sam is taking away one of the main characters?

Ok, altogether now, Gruesome overpowers Sam, he knocks the gun out of his hand and then knocks out Sam and runs out the back door where he overpowers Lizz and gets away. Did we really think they’d get him wiuthout a fight?

Morning, Tracyville!I really expected the MCU to have a coordinated effort to wait for the end of the play and then arrest Gruesome in his dressing room after the show.

A little Vertebrae bending there . . .?

Given Catchem’s back leaning angle in 3 - seems someone should best be there, ready to CATCH Him !

Back in 2 - we saw that determined expression on Gruesome’s face, then just one arm out with a clenched fist and the suggestive spinal body language of both in - 3 . . .Gun out by Sam, good thing ! But that leaning back likely triggers a ‘telepathic’ message that reads - "deflect gun aside, then very quickly PUSH Him into, or Up against, what looks like a Closet !

Yesterday, his was a dramatic and colorful entrance, but Sammy C is ‘slipping’ . . .. As they’d say in English Cricket - “the Shine is Off the Ball” - and Sam’s ‘Nicotine’ dry, perhaps careless now, he’s allowed himself to be in ‘touching distance’, and worse, the weight already seems there on his Back Foot ! (?)Those Staton body ‘angles’ in 3 - seem to ‘telegraph’ the next step . . .

My guess is, Gruesome will certainly escape for now, and there’ll be at least a mini Chase ! *Mike might put a Facet Joint (or Fix in - here), to give the story (and our stiffer spines?) a little more ‘flexibility’ !

That earlier physical, ‘day to day’ (relative) INERTIA (if I may call it that?) of the strips characters - might well have ‘jumped’ - to a few readers. Perhaps the odd Crick Neck in the Group ? For no one likes to stand, long in one place, and looking at the same Wall for a long time. Boredom? Some degree might set in ? A little impatience, for a ‘change of scenery’ ?. It’s human nature to ‘“shake a leg” and move on. !

And it occurs to you Sam’s Back’s been to the Wall for 1 day ! While for yours and mine - it’s been Face to a Wall in the Patterson Theatre for 7 to 8 weeks - a “locked in” Visual Discomfort tempered happily by the magic of Facial Expressions (Gruesome’s). Talent by - Joe, and his pencils !

But like the story sequence in question, I’ve tarried much too long in one place So, taking my own advice, it’s - Farewell until tomorrow !

Gruesome shoves Sam into a cupboard and finishes the play, then he takes the money and runs.

What did Liz look like yesterday? A female version of Alice Cooper.

Sam, Sam, Sammy my boy? Don’t you know you’re going to spoil the play for all those audience members, including the Tracy couple? And was it such a good idea to tell Gruesome that Dick is out there? Or to go up against Gruesome alone, and standing so close?Doesn’t anyone here think these MCU guys all need a refresher course on proper procedure?

Well, if they wait until after the play, there will be lots of people backstage that could be endangered, I suppose. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if indeed, the real purpose of Mike and Joe IS to give the audience an “unforgettable ending”

Of course, doesn’t Mel go down too for harboring a fugitive?

And, if Gruesome escapes Sam, he has hostages galore to pick from….betting he would grab an actress or a candy cane……say goodbye, Vitamin!
