I know ‘tis cartoon physics, but aren’t cats lactose intolerant?

Everything is better with ice cream. :)
forget the lactose concerns…..how does Garfield get the ice cream out of the freezer and serve a perfectly round scoop onto a cone?

Cat’s lactose intolerant? Not that I ever noticed. Ours are always trying to steal bits of cheese, and it doesn’t seem to hurt them when they succeed.Today’s strip would be a poor candidate for Garfield without Garfield. Or would it?
The middle panel must have taken a lot of effort to draw.
If Garfield was holding a chocolate ice cream, I would be insanely jealous!
Good thing I have some chocolate ice cream of my own. Yay!
