The last time I took caffeine pills, I didn’t go to the moon but I was able to run up and down the stairs 10 times straight. Of course, once the pills wore off, the inevitable crash was major.

I mentioned this in the B. C. comments, yesterday, but it was very late in the day, so since I’m here early today, I’ll bring it up again:

I wrote the B.C. authors a suggestion that their next B.C. paperback (or two or whatever it takes) be a compilation of all past “Wiley’s Dictionary” strips. In case they read this board, let them know if you like that idea. :) - Or, if ya wanna, you write to them here: http://www.creators.com/write/comics/bc.htmland give them the suggestion, too. Tell them you got the idea from a brilliant and well-dressed chimp. ;)

Caffeine and ginseng is an interesting mix, try some red ginseng extract in your coffee, the flavours compliment too.

When I was 16 I had heart problems, so my doctor took me off all caffeine for a year. After the year had passed, I slowly started having a little bit of caffeine. Two things happened: I suddenly couldn’t stand the taste of colas, and coffee made me sleepy. Both of those are still true to this day.

One morning as I staggered sleepily toward the kitchen to make coffee, I saw something on the wall. When I saw it was a tarantula, my first thought was “I can’t deal with this until I have coffee!” I was right. After a cup woke my brain up, I swept the spider into a wastebasket and carried it to a vacant lot where I hope it lived happily ever after.

Whenever I get a migraine headache, I down a 5 Hour Energydrink. The caffeine in it knocks it out in 30 minutes. I don’t know if it will work for everyone, but it definitely works for me.

It’s probably impossible to hit the fatal caffeine dose of 10g/200lb with coffee, even espresso. However, “energy drinks” and pills enable a few people to do it every year. 40 seagulls a year die of caffeine overdose from used coffee grounds.

Caffeine is generally Good For You™ when well less than 400mg / 200lb / day is consumed. More than thatleads to increasing toxicity – up to the fatal 10g. Some people have caffeine intolerance, and can die from as little as 1g/day.

Caffeine is a vasodilator. So a little bit with pain relief helps take out the migraine. I thought he invented teleporter pills. Which we need.
