I will be soon be going to my 65th reunion and am STILL in touch with some..on a regular basis. The only way I gave up on friends, was when they died!!

As someone who is allergic to perfumes I can tell you that most people qualify as horrible under the definition you give. People tend not to believe you and resent your attempt to take away their smelly stuff.

I’m happy to be back on line, after Duke Energy was offline all night last night here in our part of Central Florida (for no apparent good reason; we had no wind, no rain and, for a change, no car accidents. Duke’s recorded message said it was due to ‘transmission lines’ . Apparently, all the money we were assessed in advance for a nuclear power plant that won’t be built wasn’t enough to repair a few older lines.)-As someone with allergies, I have to be concerned if I’m still sniffling a few hours after exposure to a substance that causes a reaction. Instead of visiting Luann, Bernice might want to visit an allergist. Reactions don’t always just ‘go away’ on their own. In fact, the very clothes she’s wearing may be contaminated with the substance and she should throw the into a washing machine.-Happy to learn about the anniversary of this comic, too. Maybe I should look for some Central Florida fans who might want to celebrate that way Brdshtt is going to. Anyone out there in Central Florida planning a feast?

Incense allergies should be the least of someone’s problems. She should be more assertive, and count her blessings she’s not living with a resentful dad like Frank. Poor Luann.

Whatever you say about Dez, at least she doesn’t keep a self-promotion poster in her place as Tiff (and now LU!) do.

10 years in grade school, 10 years in middle school & 10 years in high school that she graduated at 17. So it takes about 3 real years to get thru 1 “Luann Year”!

As far as today’s story goes, it sounds like Tiff will soon be getting a roomie.

Luann has decorated the walls of her room with self-portraits. The most interesting is the one that’s just above her head, in which she envisions her life as a nun.

We missed how Dez reacted when Bern told her she was allergic to her incense. The story skipped right over it, but I would have liked to see it.

That incense is in Bern’s hair and on her skin and clothes. I feel sorry for her.

It’s good to see that Luann is taking an art course at Pitts CC, if that is what it is; or is she doing an independent art project to celebrate her 30 years as a teenager?Poor Bernice has a nasal problem, cold or no cold. I hope she and Dez can get along as time goes by….

On the 17th, there will be a huge Luann tadoo at our house. Enchiladas (baked on the plate), quesadillas, fajitas, frijoles refritos, fried hominy, chips, salsa, homemade guacamole, salad, flan, and Mexican wedding cookies.-I hope you’ll have a lot of green Dos Equis and green tequila to wash that all down.
