Do I get partial credit for my revised prediction Saturday of Maxie getting his shot blocked?

Nice work BItsy! Does anybody want to revise the prediction that BStatWhiz is slipping him a placebo? (oops I did it again)Bacon hogged the ball, shoulda seen that one coming.

How long was Max hanging in the air? No wonder he got his shot blocked. He wouldn’t let go of the ball.

Sorry stranger with the monstrous hand on my shoulder, it’s those damned placebos Coach Bobby has been giving me make me feel invincible.

On the other hand, all hands on deck, er in the strip today.

And we’re still just 5 games into the season! Could Gill have been constipated during his entire 50+ day absence?

In P1, Max thought about a devastating karate chop to disable the defender, but in P2 he reverted to his trusty elbow to the ribcage (2nd time on this drive) instead. It didn’t work, and Gil’s Frankenstein hand patting his shoulder is little consolation.

Since Max experienced failure, he will demand a stronger dose from Bobby, like BStatWhiz has a script pad and can write what Bacon “needs.” Bobby raids Rick Scott’s training room and grabs a fistful of salt tablets.

Yes – my revised prediction was correct too! It you make enough revisions, at least one of them should be right. Holy crap, what happened? Gil aged about 40 years during the game. And I told him it was stupid to hold for the last shot when losing!

Gil: “You didn’t see Ken wide open?”Ken: “Sorry coach…I thought Bobby’s recommendation of Ken on the wing was okay advice. But I didn’t hear from any of the coaches, sooooo…..”

In all reality , the storyline will now center on Leisl and Bobby’s romance and Max’s bullying of Bobby for stronger drugs . Bobby will go to Gil and explain his problems and get no help. Kaz will return and so will Mimi . Baseball will start and end followed by Summer.

Since both players in the forefront of P2 have their hands on the ball at the same time, it should be a jump ball and the team with the arrow gets possession. ‘Larks ball with a tick remaining and Bobby draws up a winning play in the huddle. C’mon Mop, make it happen. You can change history.

Hey! How about some kudos for Jefferson’s 21? He dislocated his shoulder to deny Max! Does only Jagger have “Sympathy for the Devil”?

Idle thought: Even placebo’s are dangerous. Max is addicted to being the star.

P-2: is the other Jefferson player giving Max a wedgy as he goes for 2?

I am woefully ignorant of basketball, but isn’t one usually within visual contact of the basket when attempting a layup? And doesn’t it usually involve leaping? Or does Max have a really lame hook? So many questions, so little interest.

Dang, I was counting on a buzzer beater from Downtown Kenny Brown! So will we see him again, or is that the extent of Ken’s Milford career?

Gil, you suck. I told you holding the ball for the last shot when trailing by 1 was dumb. But what is not dumb, is today’s Mopped Up Thorp.

When Gil gets that “look” on his face…mayhem usually follows, but carried out by his henchmen.
