Nate: Here's my paper, Mrs. Godfrey. Mrs. Godfrey: Why does it say "A Civil War Faction"? Nate: That's my own word! Fiction and fact! Faction! Nate: It's an unconventional approach, but if you read it with an open mind, you'll always be blown away! It was a dark and stormy night that morning as Confederate guns exploded onto the tropical island of Fort Sumter, Louisiana.

Well it wasn’t creative writing class, it’s history. I think Mrs. Godfrey was right in giving Nate a bad grade.

Why is everyone bashing Mrs. Godfrey? She has a point. For one, Fort Sumter was based in SOUTH CAROLINA, not Louisiana. Second, dark and stormy night, huh? DURING THE MORNING???
