Morning! I was just thinking of something that was noted in yesterday’s comments, about how B-B Eyes seems to be running the Blackhearts’ operation since Mr. Bigg appeared. Whither Venus, Melies, and Apollo?

BB-Eyes is more middle-management I’d guess. Valid question though.

It is what it is, fhofmann. Your entertainment value will vary depending on how well you know Marvel history.

Following up on Pequod77’s musings yesterday about the flow of time in Tracyville, in a decidedly indirect fashion.

A lifetime and a few internet handles ago I was a frequent contributor to RATSA – Rec.Arts.TV.Soaps.ABC – The UseNet group.

One of my fellow posters would take each All My Children episode’s action, then briefly – and rather cleverly – summarize it, calculating where actual “Days” began and ended.

2003 for example consisted of 52 “Days” worth of action, spread out over about 250 episodes.

Mr. Bigg reminds me of Daddy Warbucks…

For those who have been missing the framed playing card posters on the wall, you’ll note that Mr. Bigg has one in his office. I think it’s only BB-Eyes’ office that doesn’t have them. The higher ranking members of the Blackhearts are always surrounded by them. There is definitely something special about Venus and Apollo and they have some kind of special relationship with Mr. Bigg that Méliès doesn’t have. I still can’t figure out what that is.

I think Mr. Bigg is the bad guy from Inspector Gadget. :)

Ack! Ack!Sorry; so much cigar smoke this morning….Mr. Bigg seems concerned to contain possible dangerous fall-out from the murder of Cork/Corky and only secondarily to track down and punish Jimmy Choo Shooz.If I were Jimmy right now, I’d be well out over the Pacific on a plane to Vanuatu if I had monetized the gold haul. If not, I’d be saying my prayers and making sure my will was in order….Blaze Rize and DoubleUp gonna get you if you’re still in town, Jimmy, still in town….

Would B.B. Eyes know the Brow? I was just thinking of what was ‘leaked" a while back…… B.B. Eyes said that “i know that face” when he was introduced to Mr. Bigg.. and if he knew (or was familiar with) The Brow, then it’s POSSIBLE that Mr Bigg could be The Brow’s Son! Mike said he was bringing him back (with a name to boot!) so perhaps…..

Might they be family ?

I definitely think that Venus and Apollo might be either siblings or lovers. They do have a special relationship with Mr. Bigg, but I’m not sure if they’re family of Mr. Bigg. Maybe yes, maybe no.

I trust there was a clean-up? Where are the cops? Where is the Gold?

. . . * and what they’re doing (like, twiddling their Thumbs?) can’t be *’too important’ - if it’s ‘Off Camera’.Perhaps we can equate it to Tess’ sense of ‘urgency’, to find out what happened to Adonis ?

And then, still like my conjecture on a Méliés ‘punishment’ - for failure . . .That is, serving for 3 months as a ‘Mascot’ at the Brazilian soccer club Santos . . .Not unduly harsh, but appropriately ‘humiliating’ !

It might be better if hiring managers were as impressed by the Linkedin site as you. :) Yeah, I suppose LinkedIn is more oriented to office types. They are trying to find their way these days. I was just reading that disappointing revenue results in the last quarter caused their stock to drop about 25% yesterday!

I’m missing Av. I think BB Eyes or someone from his gang Shanghai’ed him. Hopefully, Rikki took him to “camp” for a little R&R.

What is their revenue anyway ?

According to the story, “LinkedIn chief executive officer Jeff Weiner has been expanding the company beyond its foundation as a portal for recruiters and job hunters, building tools that use the site’s user data for marketing and sales.”

I think that means that they’re trying to put advertising into people’s feed stream, but it seems it’s not working so well as they’d like.

Other than that, Syd will complain no matter what.

Well, there’s always room for improvement.
