Chic is hunched over as if he’s hovering over something. I’m sure we’ll soon see that it’s a very relieved Irving.

I don’t think Kirbee knows about Irving yet. I think she will display at least a little sympathy when she finds out. (I would like to hope so, anyway)

By the way, this is how most adults talk to children, when they want them be brave.

If Irving was able to get under the canopy of Holly’s dress as small as it is, it could have provided protection from the down-draft. Holly’s look may be from Irving being in hiding.

If being nearly asphyxiated gives Kirbee a rush, I have no choice but to imagine her as Cheryl Tunt from Archer in her previous life.

I havent read any comments yet but Kirbee is one fine Lizard! She is always surprizing me!

I think Irving will show up in the next time we see them. He is aa tough bug. And Chic might have been able to grab him. I would be crying if I lost my pet, but if I mangaed to save him in the last minute, I would be be crying because of it being such a close call in such emotionly charged save.I hope he makes it.

Holly is really wide dyed, I hope she thanks Kirbee for getting them out of sure death.

Kirbee reminds me here of Aaron Marx beffore he got sad. Such a happy guy.

I’m sure the lizard who discovered the nursery (or what remains of it!) has made it to the stadium by now.

There seems to be a lot going on for one racoon. It may be outsiders or former members of that town raiding the town out of revenge. I’m surprised not a single one got away from the nursery if it was only Jim. That would explain no body (because it was carried off) and leaving the fingers (because it was too dark).

Maybe Kirby’s also lightheaded/high from lack of oxygen? She was being strangled while oxygen was being eaten up by the fire.

I believe Irving lives, in some way. In the September Print Purchase Archive there are pictures of Holly, Wally, Chic and Irving outside of the Reptil-a-diddly-opolis. Aaron never said those prints were discontinued, so if anybody has a few twenty-dollarses to invest in prints of Endtown artwork, write to aaronneathery@gmail.com

I think this whole thing is Sarah’s doing. She said she saw the colony’s problems and vowed to put things right. While the rest are busy with their “fun”, it’s a good time to create conditions that show up the colony’s deficiencies. Besides, I believe she’s still a Topsider at heart. Eliminating anthros was, until recently, part of her conditioning. Dismantling the colony through fire and famine makes the lizards ripe for destruction and/or processing—if she can’t get them to accept her terms of restructuring.

Maybe she’s buzzed from a lack of oxygen from the rope having been around her neck?

Post-crisis reaction. Kirbee would be good in the X-Games, or maybe we can get her a part on Fast and Furious 23.
