Okay, it’s pretty clear they are active, but not necessarily going all the way. Even if they are, they’re both young adults, and if the famous “.” can be acknowledged, so can the related activity. We all assume that Luann’s first time would be a major event, but not everything needs to be spelled out for us. Sex is a part of life, but so is using the toilet. And if they are doing the deed, I think it goes without saying that they’d be responsible.

I’ve noticed a pattern of Evans setting up one new story line after another and then just dropping them.

Well, when you’re dealing with several major characters. Besides, it leaves you wondering and using your imagination.

However, in the case of Luann, it’s in the best interest of these boards that next week’s strips be leaked, since so many people are posting messages full of either condemnations or praise about what’s happening in the dark today. Those postings are pointless, if you don’t know what actually happens.
