A refreshing attitude on the part of the brother! (Especially since some older brothers usually seem to like to torment their younger sisters and bros!)
If I had a polydactyl child, I’d never put him/her through an operation to remove extra fingers. God gave him the extra fingers; far be it from me to remove it.
Didn’t Elly get that way once too? In some story strip where Michael wanted an earring. Elly’s reaction: Absolutely not. Michael then comes home with a tattoo with a heart that says MOTHER. To be expected, Elly’s blood pressure goes higher than Greece’s debt. One of her remarks was “For nine months when I was pregnant, I drank not one cup of coffee so your body would be perfect. Now I might as well go to Colombia and wolf down whole beans!”
I love the comment I keep seeing on Facebook — I’ll paraphrase. “Know what my 2-year-old hates? Naps. End of list.” Kids have to be taught to discriminate because of “differences.”

I love her face in panel 2. It’s so “I am eing very important,” and the kids are like, “yeah, yeah, whatever.”

It’s not a deformity, it’s a feature.

Nice idea, but would have been more meaningful and effective if the baby had, e.g., Down’s Syndrome.
