Beverly’s parents will probably sue disregarding the fact their little “precious” was being a bully. "(I drove a school bus for several years and loved it when parents claimed their little one wouldn’t do that and the boss played the video tape from the bus back clearly showing them doing it. Play it again boss.

Good eye. The lettering is close enough to count as an homage. Another little wink from Team Tracy. Beverly was wrong to lay hands on Honeymoon. Another case of bullying gone wrong.

In panel 2, the name of the sports store is a nice little nod to DC’s Action Comics.

No doubt Honeymoon will be blamed for this rather than Bev who assaulted her.

(It’s like what the snarky host says to the loser on a TV game show.)Honeymoon is down and needs to recharge; we don’t see the aftermath for Bev and TJ, but I’d be willing to bet that Bev is at least quite frazzled, if not down. I’n not sure about TJ; depends on the blast/shock radius….

If that’s what happened to Honeymoon, I’m not sure I want to see what happened to Bev…

Regarding this comment a day or two ago, I think they just started glowing when she uncovered them. If you’ll recall, Mysta Chimera had problems when her horns were out of the sunlight and so did the original Moon Maid.

Bev may not have known that the horns were real but once she laid hands on Honeymoon, she committed assault.

Still, these girls are young children. Although what we have seen is juvenile bullying, none of the girls involved have the age or maturity to deal with or fully understand the ramifications of their behavior. I am interested to see the parent’s reactions.

There’s a nod to DC Comics in Panel 2. The “Action Sports” sign looks similar to the “Action Comics” logo of the Silver Age, although the lettering here isn’t slanted.____________________

It’s still within the same family of fonts, just not as heavily italicized as the logo on Issue #1.
