I realize I’m younger than Gil — I was 8 when the strip started — but no one I know squats like that to put a tee in the ground. Has Whigham ever even seen anyone play golf?
Same old GilPa going through the motions, allegedly teaching the yutes the basics of golf so he can play unlimited rounds. I’ll fall out of my chair if Molly, Kenny Lark, The Peake kids, Herk & Hairy or Steve Boone get a cameo this storyline. So what are you going to do about it? Have a mass shower sit down in protest.

In P3 Gil is grooming his next star kicker. He has them start out kicking golf balls through the uprights and as they get older, progressing up to footballs. Hey, he’s a State Champion Coach you know.
Yeah, all 3 of those kids are going to whiff in P1. Especially the little one, who doesn’t even have a ball on the tee. With what’s going on in P3 I think Gil won’t be able to sit comfortably for a couple of days. And speaking of sitting, you better sit down before reading today’s Mopped Up Thorp.
Finally figured out what’s going on in P1. These kids idolize Tiger Woods and are incorporating the same swing changes he’s been making into their own game.
Looked back at Aug.5th 2015 strip. Gil giving the kiddies lessons and almost getting hit in the head. Tru complaining about recruiting. Seems a lifetime ago. Strange calendar in Milford

Those kids look like they’re swinging baseball bats, but I have no room to criticize. I can’t keep my left elbow straight, either.
