I killed a snake once: it was delicious. (Survival school). I couldn’t catch anything on four feet or two feet (birds) so I went for something with no feet.

Well, sure, there’s nothing intrinsically wrong with beating an animal to death because you don’t like it; it’s just today’s political climate that frowns on it. Some day things’ll swing back, and we’ll beat animals, ridicule people in public for their relative physical or mental capabilities, deny women the vote, enact Jim Crow laws, all of that stuff that isn’t REALLY wrong.
