Quite the cast of classic comic characters in that 1st panel! Funny to think that Honeymoon is the newest at a mere 50 years old!

I think that Punjab ‘heard’ Honeymoon’s thoughts because they implicated danger to Annie. Otherwise he does not hear them.

Weeks? If Honeymoon and Annie were missing that long, Junior and Sparkle would have been out looking for them, long before the raid on Ace Tower. Either Punjab’s meditations have him moving in real time (as opposed to comic strip time) or that’s a slip-up on the script.

Well I suspect my hunch was wrong. I thought Bribery might have been foolish enough to mess with Punjab. It seems everyone is right that was simply looking to get away. I don;t think this little adventure is over yet, we need to see the finale of the battle downstairs, what happened to T-Bolt/Lee Ebony and where is Mysta? I expected her to be directly behind Punjab.

Just roll with it, Honeymoon…

Since everyone seem to have forgotten about Mysta, T-Bolt is probably medium rare now. :) She’s been toasting for some time already. :)

For those people who claim that the current story was a relatively short time in Tracytime, Punjab shoots holes all through that theory. He says he’s been getting the telepathy messages for weeks. So, if Annie and Honeymoon have been in peril that long, I bet they are plenty hungry and probably smell a little ripe, too! Wait a sec! I becha Diet had a pocketfull of Mars Bars and Moon Pies to tide them over!

Returning to the exceptional five-panel strip of August 14, how fares our cast of characters? BB-Eyes has left the building. He was shot after firing on Sam and Tracy. Current condition is unknown. Doubleup is in custody. Holding a whip is not a crime. He did not attempt to use it. Let Mr. Kleen sort it out. Mumbles ran from the shootout. He remains in the building. Méliès is dead fish dead: a bullet in his head. Venus and Apollo are in the building. They may be exchanging gunfire with the MCU/SWAT. Annie and Honeymoon are safe. Honeymoon put Mysta’s training to good use. Punjab arrived, assuring their continued safety. T-Bolt has had a shocking experience. She is presumed to be temporarily incapacitated. Mr. Bribery has a head full of bees. Honeymoon dropped him like a bad habit. The miscreant was last seen crawling away, lucky to have his condition misdiagnosed by Punjab the Wizard. Can’t wait to see what happens next!

So Punjab knows Reiki? Not too surprising.

I suspect the voice in his head my not have been Honeymoon, per se, but a premonition / 6th sense.

Sorry I do not have the exact quote but there was talk here some time back about an important character coming out in this story. Since this story might be coming to an end very soon (as in a month or two), who could that character be? There are only two possibles that I can think of as to who that might be – Honeymoon and T-Bolt. I still believe that T-Bolt is Lee Ebony but she could also be a newly minted character. Honeymoon is an old character but had to be looked at with a new perspective with her coming of age.Unless Vista Bill rides from the sunset and gives Dick Tracy, Sam, the police and the FBI a hand in subduing the Blackhearts, I can’t think of no other who could be that important character.That is if I did not misinterpret what had been talked about here

@Avenger09 great poem!We know that comic strip time is very relative, and it has nothing to do with real time. See Sparkle whose birthdays celebrations stopped because ithey became incongruous.
