I’m beginning to feel like Holly and her boy toy should really have some kind of restraining order on file that prohibits them from being closer than 500 yards to any public educational institution.
Flashbacks to big John Pascoe, arms folded, silently taking it all in. Wonder if they have bonfires at Gallaudet or State or wherever he ended up going that prompted Gil to hoist the unsuspecting secretary into the air.
Bon fire, ‘Sparky’ Darwin, flaming wardrobe, burning story line. Plus so many of you being from the Chicago area. .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31pCY1uDRzY
What pathetic signs. I’m sitting around with nothing to do for weeks and weeks and they couldn’t have me make up some awesome signs for the long overdue bonfire? Sign Man not wanted. :(
Don’t they have a fire ordinances in Milford? A 50-foot bonfire seems just a tad dangerous. And speaking of dangerous, today’s Mopped Up Thorp might be dangerous for some character’s health.

The other day we were briefly talking about rerunning long time strips from the start. Just found out that they are rerunning B.C. from the start, just started last week. It’s here on GoComics under the title “Back to B.C.” Interesting to see the original appearances of the characters. Everyone looks like a pyramid.Only problem is the strip debuted in 1958, so for example we won’t see the 1990 strips until 2047. Too bad they can’t run them like I proposed, put a whole week out every day so that we can get through them all eventually.
I think I know why Milford hasn’t played any games yet. Perhaps whatever state they’re in (Connecticut?) uses a system where the defending state champion skips the season and jumps straight to the playdowns. It’s not like we have a lot of past championships to use as a reference.
Oh cool. You look just like I imagined.Yeah, maybe you will flatten Mr Reality one day. Don’t have enough of the train there though for a good picture, will have to pull a similar one from the web.

Is Sparky Darwin yelling into Dora’s vibrator in P1? Lots of hands and crab claws in the air as Milford burns.
Sparky wearing the signature Milford double wide watch band in P2. Dora wearing her C list celebrity status in her hair in P3.
tcar-1 should come up with a pretty good soundtrack for today. Maybe start with The Talking Heads “Burning Down The House.”

Milford should have it’s hands full with whoever they play, seeing how most High School football teams are in Week 5 or 6 by now!
