I guess Marty isn’t convinced that the linemen are cool. And really, how could anyone blame the coaches for anything. The few times they attempted to coach, the players ignored them and called their own plays.

Mimi stays home listening to Marty instead of going to the opening game with her State Champion Coach husband? Pedro must be in town.

I like that combination window unit A/C – AM/FM radio the Thorp’s have. I bet it gets WKRP, KORN, and the Mt. Pilot station in addition to the Marty Moon show.

How is this a reality show about a celebrity returning to her hometown to teach English? Is the idea that it’s really just a guise to film “Celebrity ex-Boyfriend Love Triangle” or does this plot make no sense whatsoever?

Right. It’s the coaches’ fault for not giving the younger players more playing time last season…when they won the state title. Ignore the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We have to prepare our backups to be better next year.

Yeah, so the reality show about a movie star turned English teacher wants to create controversy about the football team because….um….hmm. Is the plan to get Steve Boone fired and have Dora take over as line coach? Speaking of plans, you should plan on reading Mopped Up Thorp right now.

I got it. Big plot twist coming – Holly is the daughter of Coach Drool! It’s part of his plot to take out Gil as revenge for stealing Tru(e).

P-3: You’re wrong, Marty. I gave all of the younger kids plenty of playing time. Like the cliche Gil likes to quote: “The game is won in the trenches.” Maybe, I should tweak their techniques.
