When I lived in Sarasota, Fla. the town of Long Boat Key had an ordinance that forbade pick up trucks, van, and work vehicles on the Key before 7am and after 5pm, in order to restrict “that class of people” from detracting from the beauty and exclusivity of their patch of sand.
