Anyone who truly believes there is an all-encompassing cure for cancer just doesn’t understand WHAT cancer actually IS or how it works. That misunderstanding creates a lot of bad feelings for the person who misunderstands it, and annoys those of us who actually DO.Reminds me of the junk mail my late grandmother used to get promising her cures for her diabetes -and one reason I don’t put down that >I< am diabetic when answering questionnaires outside of my doctors’ office.

I brewed essiac tea about 15 years ago, it did the job.

Right now I have 9 days left for Movember wihich is for men’s prostate cancer research. I can’t wait to get rid of the moustache believe me. The bet is for charity though.

People give hundreds of millions for cancer research but my friends breast cancer medication cost $10000. a month. I don’t get it. I’m thinking were being scammed.

If you put a ‘dash’ in front of and then in back of a phrase, that is read by GoComics as the symbol to strike through text.

I don’t get it. People don’t shave for a month, who raises the money? Why don’t you just donate?

I’m sure there are natural remedies which will reduce your risk of developing cancer in the first place, and reduce your risk of getting metastases once you’ve got it, but they’re not going to get rid of a well-established tumour – especially something virulent like pancreatic cancer, which can kill you in a few months. And cancer is a part of you, so it’s difficult to find things which kill the cancer without killing the host.

When my Mom died of cancer, my sister was freaking out that I’d be next. I told her I smoke way too much pot to develop cancer…(And yes, cannabinoids can help with cancer, much as some people refuse to believe it…)

I wish the comics would just stick to comics. I see enough ads on TV without seeing them here too.

some of your text is lined out because you put a “-” immediately before and after your text. For instance, if I type – test – without the spaces between the word & the dashes it will come out test.

I keep running into those rumors of a suppressed cure for cancer. As a person who has spend a career in studying cancer chromosomes, I am aware of the many things that cause it as well as the many other things we still don’t know… it’s not just one disease!

BTW, I’d be interested in whatever mechanism was used to produce such rapid beard growth in just one month. That’s something that would bring in a lot of money!

The Hospitals, Doctors and Insurance Companies have all the money – why aren’t they funding Cancer research?

oh, right, curing it would hurt their profits

What’s sad is that something like No Shave November started as a way to raise money but most of the men I see on social media and real life who do it aren’t raising money. It’s become a “fun” social trend while the real cause has fallen to the side.

I don’t know about a cancer cure, but I am still trying to find that 200 MPG carburetor for my 1970 Cadillac Eldorado with the 500 CID V8 engine…

I’m still trying to figure out how growing a beard gets money sent to cancer research. Coz believe you me, if I knew how that was done, I’d grow a beard and get money sent to ME.
