I’d LISTEN to Her Brad, if I were You, and book a Reservation NOW, Before an Unfortunate Plot Twist Screws Everything Up.

Only one way to fine out, Toni, if there’s an opening: walk up and ask the proprietor(s).

I don’t think Toni meant “can we check on the reservation date we want” … I think she means “can we use a room for the rest of this afternoon …”

No, wait, this is Team Evans we’re talking about. Of course she wants to check on their desired date now, while they’re here. What am I thinking?

Wherever they get married, a fire will break out and Fire engine and crew will be part of the service afterall…….

    I called it first!

and whats with the name 4-2 Second of April, 4th of february? I’m guessing its a bible chapter and verse….Perhaps Ephesians 4:2 – Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love

    Fits rather well.

I don’t know why the Evanses are going this route by not having Brad think of the Fuse instead.-It’s unlikely that Brad and Toni are going to get a better price from Cottage 4-2 than from the venue owned and operated by Brad’s parents and his best friend.-If Brad was trying to avoid having his parents involved in the wedding planning, then I could understand wanting to avoid their venue. But I don’t think any situation like that has been raised. Brad seems to have a good relationship with his parents, and they were enthusiastic about the wedding when Brad & Toni announced the original date. So I don’t think Brad & Toni are intentionally avoiding the Fuse.-Are we supposed to think that Brad has forgotten about the Fuse? Or maybe that he never knew about it?

7“Cottage 42” is a rather strange name. I know it is the address apparently on the door, but why call it that? I would imagine there must be some sort of business that is renting out the cottage or a room in it. In terms of its use…. IMO the use is to be for the start of their honeymoon, NOT a site for the wedding. Toni’s comment at the end is IMO an attempt at humor where Toni is suggesting that she is, er, uh, “randy” and would like to stay there right this minute. IMO, none of this “Cottage 42” discussion has anything to do with the wedding ceremony. I suspect we will see on Saturday, that both Brad and Toni come up with the “novel” idea of having someone marry them at “The Fuse” on December 11th (which many others have also suggested).

Greg, just say no to the Fuse Wedding, TJ catering and Zebo decorating! You can do it. Just continue to resist the temptation!

I’ve always assumed that the drama around/before the wedding was going to be that Jonah would suddenly die and Toni and Brad would wind up adopting Shannon. I hope that doesn’t happen, as I’d like to see them just be a private couple together for a while (with the occasional visit from Shannon, which would be expected), but as Jonah is essentially an off-stage character anyway, it seems a likely plot choice.

To all those who question the use of “cottage” in describing this building, the term cottage is used in England for a 2-story house — whether detached, semi-detached, or terraced, they are all cottages.

One nice thing I want to comment on in character development is that we are seeing a very cheerful, dare I say (without being accused of being chauvanist) perky side of Toni, along with Brad’s sense of humor. People in love should bring out the best in each other. Okay I did my piece of optimistic joy to the day, back to you hate-reader trolls (lol).

“it is likely she will have a career in one of these four paths.1. Art2. Music3. Theatre4. Teaching”

1-3 aren’t likely. Despite her (literally) incredible talent in 1 & 3, Luann hasn’t shown any sign of doing them except when she’s assigned to by someone else. Not motivated enough to make a career in a competitive world. As for the music business, in the real world she would have to be studying, practicing and performing to have any chance at even a modest career. That train has already left the station.

That leaves teaching. Assuming she ever gets to a four-year college, she would do OK getting a teaching degree and getting a teaching job.

But, does it have a shower? Their relationship doesn’t ring of romance. They work, babysit the kid, make plans, go through the motions. Just seems a little sterile to me. Where’s the flowers, the laughter, the cozy little booth in the back, the quiet conversations about their dreams and feelings for each other?
